A good replacement for Lucy Bronze
England will need to step it up a notch or two if they want to get the ball past Courtney Brosnan. She was phenomenal in the game against France on Friday.
They need to be more ruthless on the ball like they were in Euros back when they won it, today they play too safe going backwards with the ball playing themselves into trouble, Spain exposed them for this in world cup final. Stanway/walsh look flat recently and no real threat going forward, when you have jess park on the bench whose had incredible season and loves to go forward with pace, Daly is more consistent at scoring than Russo, grace clinton is more creative than Toone who runs hot an cold and consistently loses the ball. Sarina always picks these former euro winners favourites for the big matches, but theyre not delivering like they once did. We have the players to win any tournament, but shes lacking that ability to utilise those key players and correct formation to do so.
U can't explain how player individual performance like who they are... This is about teamwork u can't win the game just what individual player can do is like a rhythm ..i think u can brain it😊

at last, she made so many mistakes, giving the ball away so many times etc the longer she keeps playing out of form stanway/walsh they will no longer be a threat against the strong teams, Russo as a lone striker isnt cutting it as she isnt scoring CONSISTENTLY, sarina just lacks that ability to make those changes that woud be vital. So many in-form players on the bench not being utilised.
probably, Williamson and Wubben Moy don't work well together - plus Greenwood runs circles around both of them so she's not getting benched unless Sarina has gone off the rails
@@Mark_106 tbf with Walsh and Stanway it's less about their form and more about how they are used in the England set up - they're both world class for club but both seem to be reduced to decoys for opening up space when playing for the lionesses which is such a misuse of them as players, similar thing with LJ too where she just seems seriously mismanaged
@@cymbelinesgf i know its really strange, because at one point i respected her choices and formation etc but shes trying to play SAFE rather than put a team out there that will go full throttle in attack. If she doesnt start making impotant changes they will not win anouther tournament. A you see other teams are making great substitutions and growing in statue with utilising new young talent. Sarina will probably keep playing these certain players until they reach theyre pensions!!
@@cymbelinesgf its true, but club is different from country, in club you have different other skillful players that are different to the ones at your international level. You watch them in training looking great, hitting shots and scoring, but none of that carry's over to the match. its like their to scared of taking risks and shooting etc.
Get a right back who doesn't charge upfield and get caught out of position.

It was not a good match the team was not working together passing was shocking they were just not organised they played better when Alex greenwood's captain why change the captain

It was disappointing because one of the best player didn't start..... you could clearly see when Chloe Kelly came in the team got more power. Why does Sarina only use Chloe Kelly as a substitute?

sarina uses her as a super sub there is certain players on the team who when they start don’t have a large impact but when they are used as a super sub for example chloe kelly, ella toone they make a large impact on the game and help win
Super Subs are a part of SWs strategy.

Please stop the charade! Sweden was pretty close to winning the game and if they did nobody couldn't have been surprised based on what was going on on the pitch. As much as I love all of them, I wouldn't start with Lucy, Keira and Georgia. Let them sit and see what happens. Most of all, please stop deluding yourselves that everything's ok, the team stopped developing after the WC.
I believe the Lionesses are being over coached now they have made it to the big time, so to speak. Probably the same coaches that have ruined the mens team, and haven’t won a trophy since 1966, I sincerely hope I’m wrong, but I predicted this would happen. Such a great shame to see such an inspirational team in decline. 😢Too much negative back passing, instead of always going forward, as they used to.
We are coached with a well respected manager and one of the best managers in the world. It would be unwise and foolish to underestimate her
@@shaunsowter It’s not the manager that is necessarily at fault. It’s the behind the scenes coaching techniques which take away a teams free flowing football mindset. Only time will tell if either yourself or myself are ultimately correct.🙂
