hey Doc i think he hurt his hand on that play with Haliburton where he goes up for a layup and Brunson hits it on Haliburton's knee going for the steal
Xander Bogaerts Injury today seems really bad can you review it
knicks single handedly paying this mans bills
This should get more thumbs up
Lol for real
At least they didn't go out pathetic like the chicken nuggets
@@manz7860Losing in 7 to the top ranked defense and high seeded wolves is pathetic?
@@steph_566 no. Getting blown out by record margin for defending champs in game 6 and then dropping a 20 point lead in game 7
Pathetic.
Doc, as a Knicks fan, i look forward to no longer hearing about injuries for a while.
I at least look forward to not hearing him talk about the team 😭
Dr. Sutterer is making bank off these Knick’s injuries 😂
he lying tho Brunson didn't even injure his hand on that play he said so himself on the postgame interview that it was a different play.. doctor lowkey a fraud
@@hooligan5381fraud 😂
@@CARBONHAWK1 Doc was too busy worrying about being first rather than standing on credibility. 😂
He’s speculating ,he repeats that he thinks that it occurred on that particular play, to me he’s readily admitting that he doesn’t know exactly when it happened but I trust his opinion as to what occurred
@@hooligan5381 yeah ur right. he aint a doctor. he's just AI. hes not even real. its the deep state.
Knicks did not pull comeback of the ages
DiVincenzo tried to push them through by force of will!
Spoilers dude lmao
Cut it to six and Jalen got hurt. Just bad luck.
@@KaramvirSingh1699nah we cut it to six, then pacers went on another run and then Jalen got injured when we were down 15 I think. At least double digits.
@@felixrauschenberger no, Jalen got injured when it was close. The report came out that he hurt his hand at the end of the 3rd when it was by 15. The 2 inbound passed we fumbled on was because Jalen did not want the ball because there was something going on in his hand. You can look at the replay and see him not running for the ball, the team did not know this and they tried to give the ball to Jalen. He tried to play through it but it was affecting his game. Pacers went on a run after that. But at the end of the day, it was just bad luck. Next year tho 🤞🏽
His dominant hand too. This is more of a freak injury and just crappy luck. Rest well Brunson and great season. Dude is a baller
Aren't all injuries freak injuries? What's the difference with this one. Sports are fun...but they often cause injury.
I just love NYK team. They proved their worth. Even lost, there's nothing to be ashamed of. They still have the heart of a champion.
Damn ! At least he will ready for the start of next season... I'm proud of the Knicks they played with a lot of heart and guts and I believe next year they will make the Finals if hopefully healthy...
it was the swat down on haliburtons knee that injured the hand, the next play (the one you showed) just made it worse and was a lot more painful.
The game is just over and already a video, great job like always DOC
Doc lying he didn't even injure his hand on that play JB said so himself in his postgame interview
@hooligan5381 he recorded before the interview. Before the game even ended
And a WAY Too Long Ad.
It happened on the Halliburton play earlier.
Love your work Dr. I have been watching for years.
I’ve never seen as many injuries in a postseason in my life… Knicks giving you plenty of content
Thanks for the explanation!
he's been playing with that tape on his left hand since at least mid season
he light
Man, this Knicks team really got killed by injuries. Stumbled upon this channel when Randle got hurt, and it sucks how many more times we've been featured. Glad to hear OG probably didn't cause the injury to worsen, was thinking about that!
I'm saw they ended up showing Brunson smacking that hand on another players knee too. If he had already hurt it prior, hurt it again in the play you showed, and then hit that guy on the knee too. Dang!
You jinxed us Doc.
Y’all were doomed from the start with Thibs as coach
fr
@@ItsYuhBoyyyy The Knicks were good and most of the players on the Knicks constantly say the reports and hate on Thib are bogus and they respect him. The issue was injuries that killed any chance of contending. Randle out for the year, Bogan out for entire playoffs in round one, and the people playing (Brunson, Hart and OG) dealing with injuries.
This man is efficient! 🙌🏾
Wonder if he will try to play 😂
Can you please do a video on why Lukas knees start bleeding midway through games? It makes no sense to me how his knee would just start bleeding without a serious injury? Please I need to know and I feel like for some reason nobody is asking this question. IT MAKES NO SENSE.
Doc, Knicks fan here. You seem like a really nice person who I would love to have as my personal orthopedic surgeon. That said ... lol.
Hey Brian, could you talk about the injury Luka seems to have on his knee and how is he able to keep playing when bleeding like that?
Doc, why did your tyson fury video get deleted?
Ridiculous amount of injuries for Knicks absolute insanity
You should do boxing injuries too
You must be new here, he’s been doing that.
Do you think you cover the line drive that hit Reese Olson yesterday?
Just watched Penny Hardaway talking on a podcast about how microfracture surgeries ended his career, as well as many others players careers. He also mentioned the surgeries aren’t being done anymore. I’d love to hear your take on the surgeries and all the careers that it claimed.
Thibs is Docs distant uncle probably
Na, Brunson fractured his thumb when he slammed his hand on tyresse knee. But debatable
Brunson said in postgame press conference it was on that play. So you are correct 🫡
Doc, can you tackle Luka Doncic's knee please as his knee has blood spot when he's playing particularly this playoff! Thank you in advance!
Can you do a video about why Lukas knees are always bleeding?
Damn that’s his shooting hand
Can you maybe make a video about why Luka Dončič knee is bleeding soo much? I have seen it on several games now...
I can’t wait to watch @itiswhatitis tomorrow morning. The face of Cam. The I told you so face 😂
Could you talk about Luka doncic’s knee? Thanks
I'm sure some people will blame Thibs for this random ass injury lol
I blame Thibs for OG and Josh's injuries.
@@peteranzano267 maybe Josh but OG was playing less than 38 minutes in the playoffs. Not sure who he was supposed to play in his place? Jacob Toppin? Jericho Sims? Daquan Jefferies? In case you hadn't noticed, we were running shockingly low on bodies at that point.
@@patrickoakley7890 what were OG’s minutes in the 5 games immediately before his injury (right after Bojan went down)? Yes, we were thin at that point, but you know as well as I do, because I can tell that you’re a knowledgeable fan, that he could’ve played Precious a little bit at the 4 or he could’ve went small and put AB in the game. Sure, neither of those options are as good as having OG on the floor, but Thibs ended up having to go to them anyway after OG got hurt. Don’t worry about me; I notice everything.
@@peteranzano267 I can agree with you there, it's infuriating to know Precious and Burks were absolutely able to contribute as evidenced by how they played against Indy, but we didn't know until Thibs hand was forced. He definitely needs to trust his bench more, but we're talking about a guy who is set in his ways at this point.
@@patrickoakley7890 yup that’s the frustrating thing for sure. I would’ve thought AB had his trust a little more from his last Knicks tenure, but Thibs probably thought he’s washed. Precious he probably didnt like him at the 4 for offensive spacing issues. I’m also curious why he never gave Shake Milton a look. He could’ve had some revenge games against Philly. I guess it just comes back to trust. At the beginning of this season when we still had IQ, Grimes/Donte, and Josh all coming of the bench, everybody got minutes. He trusted all those guys. Later in the year, Thibs turned back into Thibs.
If you think it was this play then what about the trying to swipe the ball on Haliburton play? That's the play he didn't come back from. So are you telling us that he may have been playing with a fracture up until that Haliburton play? If so then damn! What was the time stamp on this Nesmith play? I'm surprised you didn't get into this during the video. But very interesting stuff. Thanks.
Nah Thibs running out of players to play 48 minutes
As always, he’ll do it again like what he did to j rose
Y'all sound dumb when you talk like that. Almost every injure that happened to Knicks this year had nothing to do with minutes played lol
The injuries being related to minutes played isn't necessarily true, and up for debate. However, knicks should shoot for 12 men deep and thibs should squash playing guys that long.
Literally nothing to do with minutes. Idk why ppl always saying that
He will be fired tomorrow. 😡
7:20 Jalen Brunson is not part of the USA Olympic Roster.
The doc is quicker than Kendrick
Maybe its' the luck of New York sports teams.
Doc why are we cursed?
Brunson wore tape on his hands his entire career 😂
6 Knicks injured, 5 of them needing to miss games for their injuries. No wonder they got cooked
How long before this video gets deleted
Taped it the whole year
Stress fracture
The Knicks are paying this man’s rent 😂😂😂
Hold on was that raptors jersey always there?
Yes
Pacers pulled a Bane. Broke their bodies and then their spirit.
all season thibs had a 9-10 man rotations well 7 of those guys were injured and 9 had a injury at some point and before trade Barrett was dealing with family concerns.. Jalen Brunson and hart didn’t finish top 10 in minutes played this season either..stop hating about Chicago Drose had chances to come back but didn’t want to
Waiting for Tyrese Haliburton video
The NBA reported that he hit the Pacers player's knee with his hand.
Goddamn Thibs man, he should know that a thumb shouldnt be used to play a 48 minute game
Thought he broke it when he hit a guy on the knee with a hand swipe on a chasedown.
U are the best Doctor
He punched a wall at halftime
• he broke it trying to strip haliburton on a fastbreak layup •
it happened swiping haliburton on a fastbreak
Caitlin Clark video in 3…2…1….
I guess nobody but me saw him punch the padding under the basket out of frustration. It could be a wrist injury. ESPN is so bad at covering basketball now that only the real fans who watch every second actually know what happened.
So what, the Wolves was up 20 points even BEFORE JB got hurt!
I’m done
I think you meant he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar
Thibs will need to build a hospital next to msg
Who knows how long he's had this hand injury which explains why his shooting wasn't great..
i hope this is a blessing in disguise for brunson, man's been battered and bruised enough already and if he somehow keeps playing against the celtics he might be carried off in a stretcher. hope he gets a full recovery and not end up like isaiah thomas, who pushed his body too far and wasn't the same since that injury
Standard practice for my sports fandom thanks doc. Knicks jets and Mets fans are built different
Facts! 🤣. Thank goodness I’m a Giants fan. They’ve given me something. I’ll be waiting on the Mets and Knicks forever.
Thibs burned the Bulls candle, the TWolves candle, and now the NYK candle.
Really feel bad for this is franchise, who, despite having injuries, could have taken advantage of playing Achiuwa, Sims, and Burks against the Sixers. And while some benches shorten during the playoffs, Thibs refused to use 3 players that gave the Sixers problems over the course of not just the season but historically as well.
You don't need detailed explanations to see what ensued. If you're trying to pick apart the acute aspects of injuries just to defend the precious extra 1 round, then be my guest.....gotta see the forest for the trees.
Put aside the fact that many athletic injuries are fatigue based for a second.....There may have been acute mechanics in some of these playoff injuries, but a good many could have been prevented with a less fatigued mind and body...... better reaction time on cuts, on slaps, on block attempts, etc. Even a 5 or 10 minute recovery time has proven to lessen the likelihood. Fatigue will make fools out of anyone.
To dismiss the impact of a hard nosed style over 95 games in addition to overplaying your hand has long term impacts, especially on players trying to get paid on their next contract.
Ask yourself the question a different way. If Thibs got the max out of this team, then where do you go from here? Run it back and hope for better results? It doesn't seem to work to well for the Sixers.
No one knows the right answers to these questions , but I bet if you ask Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler they'll both tell you it's not easy to get a bunch of dudes on the same hard nosed page. They are also likely to tell you a hard ass doesn't have any longer a shelf life either. The poster boys for the Thibs style don't seem last the duration. Not everyone can have the Spo wisdom.
Ben stiller can get you a new one 1️⃣

Thumb injuries are no joke. Injured mine 8/2019. Surgery 2/21 ( worse decision of my life). Still hurts like hell today

Thanks Doctor. Injuries beat the Knicks. It was not fair. It was no longer a series playing injured. My question is, does this hand injury take a long time to heal and what is the prognosis?
Injuries is a known part of the gm. Esp to very physical players. Its fair...just unfortunate...it happens when you over work a player. He his the floor to often as he bangs thru people.
Thibs burns out yet another team. How long until this welcome is worn out. It is all rah rah run through a wall for someone..... until you realize the wall is usually going to win--and leave a mark.
