What size and make of tyres did you fit? Thanks
You need al this to drive to Gatwick airport?
From where you take Norwegian Air Shuttle to Oslo and then to Tromsø, Kirkenes or Alta.
If you are going to drive, it is 1700km to Oslo from Odiham. 99% is highway. From Oslo to Tromsø it is another 1700km. The highway ends 100km north of Oslo. The rest is 2 lane roads. March 10 it was -15 in Oslo, to Morrow, March 13, it will come 20cm of snow in Oslo. The only uppgrade you should do is real Norwegian winter tyres. The tyres you are instaling are not recomended in a norwegian winter.
It's 100% about looks. Norway probably has much better roads than the UK. This is just bragging rights really.
Does tyre wheel size effect speedo readings ?
Yes…. It makes your Speedo read a little slower than you’re actually going…. However as most cars read 10% over anyway it brings it back to pretty much bang on. I put over sized wheels on my T4 and now my speedo is exactly correct, however my mileage reads about 7/ 10% under… ie if I drive 200 miles my mileage will only register it as 180 miles….
That air thing looks stupid
