Arsenal won 17 of there last 19 games and still didn't win the league. Ive never seen a team play that well and not win the league. That draw at city or that home defeat to villa was the difference on winning the league. They had best defence, best goal difference but they had to win at least 18 of their last 19 games to win the league. Its absolutely insane and bonkers to say a team needs to win that many games to win the league is not normal ever in the premier league. Winning 15 out of 19 in previous seasons would usually be enough. Thats how good this city team are and are now clearly the greatest ever premier league club, to do what they have done is also unheard of and not normal.
Arteta made too many changes aginst Villa because of trying to beat Munic in the QF of Champions League and they should have concentrated on the League. Of course no guarantee that they would have beaten Villa but still.

I would love to see some big teams beat Manchester City, not only Arsenal beating City. If the big six can take 3 or 4 points against Manchester City last season, Arsenal should have won the league. But only Arsenal beat City, the rest big six drew with City. Let 2 or 3 big six teams beat Manchester City. If they tried to do that this year, then it would be Arsenal this coming season.
