It wasn't enough of them, katyushas should fire in group of up to 5-10 truck at the same time, shown in the game so far IS ONE SINGLE TRUCK!!!
@@onerxowns2202 Yup that is correct. But I guess the game performance would tank if it was anything more than that. I seen enough videos of them being used at Stalingrad to know it is not as accurate as it should be hehe. But you are right. Still though a cool sight nonetheless.
The way I understand it is instead of the commander having access to large bombers to do bombing run they opted to give the Soviets access to Katushas in the game. So instead of that creeping death you get a bombardment that you can't tell exactly where it will hit. Causing lots of panicking for the Germans hehe.

@@onerxowns2202 The Katy is already very strong in the game. If it was 5-10 itÂŽd annihilate. The thing is while yes realistically theyÂŽd fire that many at a time there also would realistically be way more than 50 enemies to fire at. Lowering the scale is what you have to do with a game.
Kursk is a masterpiece. The engagement distance is the best part of the map.
Yes I love this map. I love being in a Trench with a Mosin Nagant with the boys. When the germans rush you and jump into the trench with you reminds me of verdun. Its so fun

I was scared it would be too open so that you would get shot everytime you're crossing a field, but they did a marvelous job on the map. My favorite
It can be a real pain to traverse the open fields, though it does compliment the trench warfare which I really enjoy.

The best part of HLL is no kill feed and no give a shits for KD ratios.
You still got hit confirmation sounds to confirm hits. There's a fleshy thud that you hear even if you hit an enemy from a mile away and that odd metallic headshot sound.
I think those shouldn't be in the game.

Kursk was a battle of armoured manouever. I'd like to see more armoured assets for this map.
Thereâs more than you think itâs just theyâre sniping at each other from opposite sides of the map
The question would be if there are enough players willing to play as a tanker

@@cahootsthe348 Yea true. I think it will also result in quite some players joining other servers which are currently having 'infantry friendly' maps. I love playing as tankcrew, so a big ass tankbattle in kursk sounds fun, but there's also alot of players who don't. Might result in a half-full server
@@aardappel8450 I donât know how other server hosts operate but on 82AD servers we have server one with pretty much everything so you can experience the full game, server 2 for events and generally maps people enjoy or the comp team wants to practice then a third server occasionally if thereâs new maps or a free weekend to get as many players as possible
The Support role has ammo boxes. They made it a more fun role to play also.
I love the realistic engagement distance
You actually inspired me to look up the typical range of engagement in ww2 which Iâm surprised Iâve never done before. Apparently itâs 300 or less and I would imagine that in the pacific it was even less.
Sometimes, these new maps can be insanely hardcore! You know when you cannot lift your head without dying. Some areas allow snipers, tanks and LMG to mow down a lot of players! More or less a criticism: just descriptive. I like the challenge and we adapt.

Wait squad doesn't have a ballistics system??
Eh, HLL does not have the best ballistics ever. It can get odd sometimes, notably bullets sometimes pierce the ground (when the LOS goes through a slight earth mound). I also never noticed any bullet drop (I noticed a *tiny* bit in this video with the DP28 at rather long range). I do not play a sniper mind you. That said, +1 to adding more ballistic behavior in Squad and other games (bullet drop, wind, penetration albeit reduced damage Ă la ARMA 3, etc.).

@@Baraz_Red Full caliber rifle rounds don't drop that much in these engagement distances, that's why they're still used for longer range engagements today.
Squad essentially multiplied gravity by 2.75/2.8 times.
HLL's implementation is far better; as it allows ironsights to realistically hit targets that it could IRL, instead of relying on optics. (Squad's system was supposedly meant to reduce engagement distance to have more parity between ironsight and optics, but ironically made optics even more essential even in midrange engagements with no downside - since the hipfire is precise)

On the Kursk map, enemy can be seen in far distance without the cover of environment (grass etc). Also the windmills have invisible wall on the windows.

I really really really wish they would make a game like this set in the 60s through the 1980s cold war different factions fighting off in different time periods through the cold war. Would have Vietnam. East vs west germany. Mercenaries in Africa. Russians in Afghanistan. South American conflicts. Would be amazing. Panama.

Itâs crazy how that first windmill and map looks exactly like Galicia in BF1. The windmill is literally an exact copy on HLL so I wonder if both companies did their research and found actual architecture to base it off of.
I never skip advertisements for CZcams content creators that I like. But lemme tell you, that was tested when a 14 minute advertisement popped up.

@@CNCTEMATIC I'm assuming you're talking about skippable pre-rolls here (Technically referred to as 'TrueView in-stream ads'). CZcamsrs will usually get less money when you skip the ad, depending on when you choose to skip it.
JamEngulfer221 is correct about all revenue for these pre-rolls being click based - And a 'click' is counted when one of three things happen:
You actually click on the video.
You watch an ad that is less than 30-seconds long through to the end.
You watch an ad that is more than 30-seconds long (like a movie trailer) for at least 30 seconds.
If you skip the ad before any of the above happens, then the youtuber earns nothing, and the advertiser pays nothing. There is no impression based revenue for skippable pre-rolls. It's entirely based on user engagement.

PPsh is OP in a way when going against MP40 CQC/Medium range fire fights which drops your enemy instantly. Hip fire god, insane firerate but hard to master for longer range fights
I mean, yeah, PPSH-41 is great for CQC/Medium range due to it's ~1000 rounds/min, ability to use 71 round mag and relatively low recoil.
But it also should be better than MP-40 for longer range, cuz it uses 7.62x25 ammunition. The bullet itself is lighter than 9mm, but cartridge is hella powerful
(= bullet flies faster and flatter than 9mm). On top of that, PPSH-41's barrel is longer (=better velocity). I'd say that PPSH-41 is better than MP-40 in terms of pure mechanical performance. Ergonomics is a different story.

Two mechanics this game needs to add and I hope they do, bayonets/melee charge and mag management. Both would add some more layers to combat an I think would be fucking dope. Either way I am still so glad I kickstarted this game even though I barely played the alpha and beta lol.

Press shift while ADS to hold breath temporarily, steadying sway and aiming in even further
Post editing, you can dhift zoom a little but like the 35 fov zooms are podt edit

not a bad idea to decrease respawn time for the soviets. it would emulate the overwhelming numbers they had and balance the germans superior firepower.
Frustrating attacking that windmill position. The enemy Has to have tanks taken out your position, or have snipers doing this as best I can. I canât help but run out in the open. Itâs brutal
