Very nice replica, worked for a builder many years ago who bought a phase 3 brand new, showed my the purchase paperwork! Got married just after the purchase then responsibilities forced him to sell and invest in a nest for his new family! Appreciate you not trying to pass it off as something it is not, legend has it there are more than 200000 GT survivors!

And only a year ago. Don’t get me wrong, awesome cars BUT not worth the money. Especially for a faker. Same goes for any car really! Nowadays there are many more replicas of these old sports/sedan fast cars than what there was actually built in the first place! You really have to be certain about the credence of any old car if you want genuine. There’s many very dodgy people out there swapping i.d. or compliance plates. Which is totally illegal if they get caught.

Quite Correct...there were many. The 69 Dodge 440 cop sedans were Tested, by real testers of the day, clocking 142 mph and 14.4 second quarter miles. The Jaguar XJ12 sedan did 140mph+. Not to mention all the Ford 429-460 sedans and GM 427-454 Sedans available from the USA.
The Hume Highway legend, was a picture taken by Wheels magazine, of the GT speedo by a bloke in the back seat, as the Factory....notoriously inaccurate Speedo, showed 140 mph flat out. Definitely not an accurate reading.
