Did you have to backup your patches before updating, then restore them?
you use a simple midi cable? not roland?
any midi cable should suffice, but Roland ones are the coolest !
Any idea why the BOSS website has an update warning 'ES-8 Ver.2 is not compatible with ES-8 Ver.1'? What are they trying to say?
it would mean parameters and patches you saved in the system with Ver1. could not be transmitted to the system with Ver2.
