Ahh at the end of the episode I'm like a child at bedtime "Noooo, just a bit more time please" and bless you, at least you only sneeze once or twice, I'm always sneeze 5-6 times in a row, my family now wait for me to finish before blessing me haha ☺
I know what you can use honey for. I discovered during my first series on this game that you can use it as a replacement for sugar in pretty much every cooking recipe. You can't use Royal Honey, though... apparently, that's only for eating straight up. And I defend your choice to eat the apple slices... early on, stamina is in such short supply, you need any resource you can get!
And yes... the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything... is.... Is.... IS......

I found you because of seeing you play Kingdom Two Crowns with Aavak. Great channel you have going here! Which was funny too, because I did a search for "Portia" thinking I would find Aavak's playlist and go watch him, but saw you had a fresh playthrough going off the release, and came to watch you!
I think Aavak might stream a bit, but this is one game where I know a lot more than he does. He might still have an interesting take on things from a strategic point of view though.

In my area it won't be out until May 14th 2019. Which is a few days, reminds me of harvest moon/animal crossing/meets sims all in one lol
I would love if Higgens becomes a marriage candidate. Turning hate into love would be a worthy challenge.
I'm so happy that other charters besides mine can ride on the horses anytime. Just read some of the updates I'm so excited to play.

I think you should of used one the the smelters to make bronze, so that you can upgrade the tools.

Also never take your bronze tools when you get them for granted, when I started a new game this morning they were a blessing when I managed to get them haha.. XD
I am absolutely rushing to the bronze tools! I think that will be the focus of episode 3!

Just a little Idea. Maybe put the part number in the beginning of the title or in the thumbnail. It makes finding the videos in the right order a lot easier. :)
How? How does it make anything easier than just looking at the end? Are people somehow tired solely by looking at the end of the string, instead of the beginning? The part being at the end is used often enough that this really should not be some hard to deal with thing. @@tiredoftheliesalready If you're watching on a small screen, the number often trails off the end of the title, and you have to actually click on the video to find out which episode it is. Playlists do help a lot, though.
I just got this game and I'm afraid I'm gonna get stuck in the mine one day🤣 this is my first time playing and I love it I use to play all the harvest moon games and story of season but now they dont often make them anymore so I found this one.

I found this game searching Harvest Moon. Do you feel like they're pretty similar games?
I think they have the same feel, but they play a bit differently. This game has grabbed my attention for longer than any Harvest Moon game so far, but that might be more of a personal preference!

Hey guys, when do you complete your bridge mission? I was thinking of delaying it maybe until year 2, just so I can have enough stock built up and all my equipment leveled up, perhaps even buy some land expansion. Not sure if that gives Higgin's an edge because I can't compete with him in terms of the big contracts?
Using your character level points will make things a lot easier but I know that playing and narrating at the same time is tricky!
I think I am so used to levelling slowly that the sheer number of levels I am getting at the moment is a bit unexpected! I think I look at the skill tree in either ep 3 or 4.

I saw an option where you can now SLOW DOWN time in your day..... I'm not sure if it would be of any help to you ! But I feel we have plenty enough time to get everything done typically! But it is a nice option none the less!
I found this option too. The bar goes from 50 to 100... it was originally set at 100 and a full day would take about 20mins IRL (straight, no in menu pausing)... I then set it to 50, and it changed to about 30mins IRL. first few beginning days I was finding myself out of stamina, talked with most of town, farm machines running, and commissions done/in process by 1900-2100. I think slowing down time later on in game when stamina is higher would be more beneficial to get things done.
I never saw the point in slowing game time down, it never bothered me before at all. If I couldn't get something done one day I would just do it the next day.
I just bought my time, glad to see the videos!

Not sure if you already know this but you can actually trade in stones for wood. That way you only need to focus on mining
Yep, had lots of people telling me at the time! Although I am not sure that it had been added at the time I recorded this, I think it may have gone in with a later patch.

Just a headsup, the lemonade doesn't give as many points when you give them anymore. So it's not really worth the money in my opinion.
Maybe only for Ginger then, until I can get something cheaper for her. The earlier you start with her social the better!

Did you know that now you can 1) *choose your own birthday* and 2) *change the speed of the game clock so the day lasts longer* ?
Cool, though I never had a problem with the clock personally. I just accept that I can't always do everything I want to in a day and specialise the days a bit more.
Ever spend skill points from episode 1?
you know you can hold left click to chop trees right ?
I do, but i feel more like I am chopping a tree if I click each time I chop. A bit like how when you are playing a racing game you lean with the controller, even though it doesn't actually make a difference.

there wasn't a wipe, but it had been almost a year (and 6 patches) since I had done the early game content and there was always a plan to restart at game launch to see how the early game had changed.
My time at sandrock is better than my time at Portia the graphics the movement the fighting the weapons the npc everything about my time at sandrock is better than my time at Portia 🤟🤟📸

@@LadyShelab thats where i go wrong and end up getting lost spending 3 hours farming for my furnaces and cutters and then i get a few discs and i go unlock a new diagram, but that needs other stuff upgraded to get that new diagram, then that new stuff i work to get unlocks their own stuff and i get more stuff to play with unlocking more.. where was i?
If you are not talking to yourself, then you are probably not taking to anyone interesting and intelligent. So, ignore the people who say that talking to themselves is crazy. Those people are probably not interesting and intelligent. ;)
