The fact that Sandy doesn't like Black Forest made me laugh 11
I wonder what he thinks about Amazon Tunnel 11
I actually saw a comment by a aoe2 developer that said that bf was specifically designed for the fans that kept complaining about not being able to wall and running out of wood 11
3:46 Actually, Fatslob is playing the version of AOE2, before Onagers being able to destroy trees (pre HD); only Siege Onagers and Trebuchets could do it.
And he is forcing Vikings mirror matches, because Vikings don't have access to Siege Onagers, in order to eliminate the possibility for someone to easily bypass with Siege Onagers, his multi-layered walled choke point, before he is ready to fight.
That's the typical low Elo behavior: let me assemble full army, then fight.
He is a legend because of T90 series, not because of any kind of exceptional strategy on his behalf. And that's OK.
Interesting... Tzar: The Burden of the Crown, an RTS from 2000 had a buildable bridges and it worked well...
Settlers too from some point I believe.
Yeah but it obviously runs on a different engine
He doesn't seem very interested in discovering fatslob. ^^
I would also recommend "The Legend of Wall" because even if it's less stereotyped than fatslob the psychological implications are stronger when playing against Wall.
