Glad Dwights back but I will never get why we gave him up after that season.
People said he got carried in the bubble but he played a major role in defence, like he always has. plus the constant alley oops to and from lebron happened frequently

Did his homework, Zion exposes the ball when he drives after his gather. Like that first highlight, after he spins he keeps the ball out and Dwight easily swipes it.
@@heybulldog90 Yep, exactly. and it is always the same motion, so if you can get it the first time, you are pretty much guaranteed either a great contest or a forced turnover.
There are a lot of possessions though where Zion was able to score against Dwight. But yeah he taught the young blood some lesson 😉

A perfect defensive player in NBA league, a good laterals, can def. in 1to5 , a great timing, a rim protector even though NBA had a defensive 3sec. violation!

I was born & raised a LAKER All My Life ... Been around since the beginning of KAREEM'S Dayz here ... Shaquille blows alot of smoke , bc he wants to seem more valuable & significant than he actually was ... rob horry , kobe & others CARRIED him ! ... When he was in-shape enough to 'actually' play , he parked his Big Fat Lazy A** under the rim all game ... & was allowed & refereed like a football player , while everyone else was playing basketball ? ! ... Going all the back to Wilt , ALL laker centers have been Versatile active players ... Of all the Great Centers the lakers have had , shaquille was the most 1-Dimensional , Laziest one of them All , INCLUDING dwight ! ... shaquille would be an IRRELEVANT DINOSAUR in today's game ... He's lucky he played when he did , & got away with his 'Bo Jackson' football style of play , bc he would be WORTHLESS today ! ... & that's why he's so Jealous of dwight , bc dwight is still a high-level contributor at this point in his career , whereas shaquille at this point , couldn't even get up the court ! ...
Dwight was Huge in the playoffs against Jokic. Shaq is hating because he would have been too slow to guard modern 5s.
What ever shaq would concede on defense (being a drop coverage center) he'll dominate the boards and paint so shaq could potentially in this era be more offensively dominant

this argument is a bit useless as well, shaq played in an era where post play was still a benchmark of the nba, if he played nowadays he would have stayed trimmer like he was in orlando to meet the requirements of a modern centre, people forget how agile he was in his first years in the league, athleticism wouldn't have been an issue i assure you
@@stinkypete5558idk, it’s well documented that Kobe hated Shaq because he’d show up to camp overweight and out of shape. He always played his way into shape and it ended up being a big reason for the feud. I love Shaq, he’s one of my favorite players ever but let’s not be like Lebron fans. I think we can admit Shaq had some flaws during his playing days.
@@fieryjalapenos4442 Because Shaq could afford to do that. Kobe complained about everyone not having the same work ethic as him. Shaq for the most part still outplayed Kobe up until around 2003-2004. Shaq would've kept his Orlando build if he played today.
