I like the bujo theme prep spread! This whole year(it's my first) I've just been scribbling and swatching in the back and I'm not liking it, so it's definitely something I'm gonna try! I also like the simple black and gold combo, you're right in saying it's calm and cohesive

I think for me, making my yearly spreads more neutral makes it easier for me to have more fun with color and design later on in my notebook. But again, bullet journaling is all about what you love and helps you mentally and emotionally ♥️
