I am doing the same swap in my MX72. I have some questions: 1. Are you running AC and, if so, did you just mate the X7 ac lines with the 2JZ lines? 2. Did you use the 5M C3 (Main Relay) and C4 (Starter Relay) body harness plugs to integrate the 2JZ body harness? 3. Did you notice a huge difference in power with the NA 2JZ VVTi? Thanks!
Hey man, Awesome video, very helpful! Thank you 🙏 Question though, what is the electronic dash that you are using? It looks awesome! And what is the radiator? It looks really clean and I’d like to use the same one on my MX73 that I just picked up on Monday! Picked up the 2J today 🤙🏼
What did you do for fuel? Stock fuel rail is a non return setup. What about the injector resistor box? Also, do the stock Cressida power steering lines bolt up to the 2JZ pump?
were you able to wire the tach and temp gauge on your digi dash using the 2jz wires on the harness? I am getting a 2001 gs300 tomorrow and will be doing the same swap but using the automoatic trans, probably will have to use a digital to mechanical converter for speedo...
@@alphadogs6212 Thanks for replying. So no need for that throttle lock or anything either then? I'm swapping my x7 too but looks like there won't be any lexuses in the junk yard for a while in my area at least, so ebay it is. just gotta find an immobilized ge obd1 or an obd 2 2jz-ge that comes with the key.

Super rare digital cluster. Just gotta look and you might find one.
Can I get a list of the things I will need out of the is300...
Dude this is awesome!! Cool shit man I appreciate it man!
hello @Alpha Dogs, how did you manage to change the color of the digital cluster? I have an MX83 and I don't see a single bulb
Custom led inside

You can use the return system from 1st gen 2j.
Hello, how do you work your RPM?
Need a tach adaptor to get the digital tach to work with the JZ

Temp uses the 5m sensor. Tach uses a msd tach adapter.
Alpha Dogs thanks man! Did you have to do anything to integrate the gas pedal position sensor?
How’s you get those lights on the digital cluster?
Nice build, I'm thinking bout doing it to my MX83. If you have any other info would be great.
50hr in the wiring. The rest is bolt in.
did you get the wiring info?
Man I need help I am doing the same swap I really need help
What''s the throttle and pedal setup? Did you use your is300 pedal or a different throttle body?
Uses cressida pedal. Is300 throttle cable. Easy.

Is there a build forum on this? Are those wrx pedals? Nice car btw
Nope. Just me. Figure it out. Haha Pedals are from a Toyota and they are stock. Last gen of a wonderful car.
