    Excellent. Can't wait to finish my time in a r22.... I'd love one of these !!! And to all the twitts saying His hand was close to the rotor....take up knitting.

    A very very stable helicopter, very well balanced, you can see its so perfectly balanced the pilot could actually lean forward or backwards to keep the helicopter in position.

    Our company has been focusing on developing and selling new products for more than 10 years. I'm a senior researcher at Heimkeeper Co., Ltd.Our company has an idea to reduce propeller noise and vibration of helicopters and drones. We're done with the experiment.We have applied for a utility model and a patent As a result of several experiments with small propellers, the current noise and vibration reduction effect is about 30%.The realization process of this idea is not complicated and simple, but the effect is considered to be a great and innovative invention.Looking forward good news from you soon

    Flying any helicopter backwards requires consummate airmanship. A little too much airspeed going backwards, and things can get messy real fast. This pilot has the touch for sure. This is NOT an aircraft for the "hold by beer" crowd.

    He's demonstrating autorotation while the engine is running. The biggest issue with autorotations in these small helios is the low rotation mass in the blades. There is an "envelope" of forward speed and height in which an autorotation will work. I've spent many years in Helicopter Flight Controls and in Aviation. That envelope would be one of the first things I'd ask for.

    • @boostedbadboyzx12r31
      @boostedbadboyzx12r31 Před 2 lety +2

      Engine maybe running but it's power out, you can hear it and see rapid descent. Clearly worked hense he isn't dead or splashed the helo, and he did it from various elevations. Those blades might not be the largest but had plenty of energy in the flair at each height.

    • @QualityRecord
      @QualityRecord Před 2 lety

      @@boostedbadboyzx12r31 He's the factory pilot. Problem with a single seater is, he can't teach new pilots how to aggressively auto-rotate as his did. These helicopters tend to attract low time pilots. Yes, he demonstrated he could do it.

  • @adamchurvis1
    @adamchurvis1 Před 4 lety +3

    Is it autorotation if the pilot still has engine control and can transmit power to the rotor? I thought autorotation was only possible from within the safety envelope of altitude + forward speed, and only when there is zero transmission from the engine to the rotor and he has to rely on feathering the blades just before landing to convert stored energy in the rotor to downward thrust. What am I getting wrong? I'm not a pilot, so any explanations will help me understand much better than I do now. Thanks!

    • @DirkHav
      @DirkHav Před 4 lety

      That is right. The higher the better. And yes, when the engine stops there is a system to unlock the rotor from the motor so the rotor can turn freely.

    • @shreddder999
      @shreddder999 Před 22 dny

      If he feather the blades before landing he would smash into the ground

  • @md14rh27
    @md14rh27 Před 4 lety +1

    All good except for one thing.Those crosswires underneath.Those look like they'd be a hazard if you were doing any ground manuvering with anything uneven underneath.I wouldn't want those under there.Virtually eliminates any clearance.Seems like a dumb move to have those.

    I see so many videos of “...without a license,” but they leave some other questions unanswered. Like do you still have to make a flight plan and/or take off from the nearest airport, what's the proper speed and altitude for an ultralight, and do you still need to at least prove in some way that you’ve had X amount of hours of training to fly even just an ultralight?

      Easy for a pilot, are you a pilot? If not, then no. Pay and go get some instruction and stick time. This isn't the ultralight version, you need a license to fly this one. Even the ultralight one though, I'd go get some lessons before attempting to fly.
