That smaller battery is for the Auto start/stop system.
It’s under the glove box
Do not have to tear all that apart only have to pull left trim panel on bottom side of glove box corner closest to center counsel and can see the box and plug in

When you first started on the right side just below the glove compartment. On that carpet type covering you had to remove just under the glove compartment, was there a little white arrow pointing up??? I ask because I will be using an XHorse Key Tool Max Plus to obtain my PIN number to program new key fobs , for a 2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn. I ordered the 12+8 bypass cables. I have read numerous articles & seen numerous videos as well showing the FCA black box in numerous locations on the 2018 Ram 1500 . Some show the left side by the steering column, some show behind the radio, some show on the right and some show behind the dashboard. I really don’t want to tear apart my truck looking for it. I just want to know if that little white arrow gives the location or if you seen it.
I believe the ram has it behind the radio. But they do change it between the various models. I haven’t tried a tool to get the pin number yet. I think that’s pretty awesome. Let me know how it works.
Also, I don’t recall seeing any indicator arrow. Sorry it was a couple years ago.
I ask about the little white arrow pointing up 👆, because on that carpet like cover just under the glove compartment, on the left edge of the cover there’s a small white arrow pointing up.

I think the adapter will work with most OBD 2 scan tools.

I have a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude, not a JGC, where is the bypass on that? I've looked behind the radio, and it's not there... any help would be greatly appreciated!
It might be under the glove box on the left side of it. Next to the carpet on the hump. Hope this helps.
with the cable only you can check codes? you can do relearns on trans and engine??
If you have the cable you can do relearns on the trans and the engine and various other modules.
Hy again thanks to you hard work. I've found it but i didn't removed any plastic clips just entered from the back of it.

I've IM508 other day i tried to add an extra smart key to chrysler S300 i couldn't this cable was required exactly.
If i get that cable would i be need in any others?

80% of Chrysler vehicles have SGM in 2018, 90% in 2019, and 100% in 2020. Prior to 2018, there is no GSM.

I deleted many time but won’t go away… so can u tell me what is that code please and where can i find that sensor on my vehicle so i can change it, i don’t know where is the location of it.

Sounds like driver side rear pillar air bag might have a bad connection. or a faulty air bag. Typically an air bag has a resistance of 2.5-3.5 ohms. (including wire harness resistance.) What does live data day on your scan tool?

I don’t believe the 2014 has a secure gateway module.

@@dashtyATG I’m pretty sure you can. You will need the vehicles PIN number for the security.

Does the 8+12 connector power the scanner

What is the reason for the battery disconnect? Doesn’t that cause a bunch of code in itself
Don Lopez No not really. Always disconnect the battery when changing a module or disconnecting modules.
