I added so much new content and bonus material - I have been devoting so much love and energy to it these past few months, hopefully you like :)
Andrew is the Bob Ross of DJing...
"Just have a little fun with it... maybe put a little slip roll in here... there that sounds nice... maybe a little filter effect in there... Yeah just have some fun with it"
Awesome guy!
Thank you so so much!!!
This guy's soul is so energetic.
I think he would be a nice friend everyone has to have.
I have more friends on YT than in real life it seems - thank you!
I REALLY want to party with this guy and hear some his stories
Andrew is an absolute legend . Genuine and very helpful .
Yeah! give me a call when youre organizing the partyyy! :D
@@njous1990 cocaiiiiiiiiiiiiine
You just want some coke😂😂
"people get drunk and say gimme some marshmello or chainsmokers" what an amazing callout! Couldnt agree more lol
There is usually a splash out or fade on the last beat of most songs too. I usually set my 8th cue point to that beat so that at any moment I can jump to that and press play on the next song at the same time. Instant transition with no effort or worries :)
Good tactic!
Been djing for 15+ years and you just added new elements into my dj life 🙏
I've not even watched this yet and I already know it's going to be massive. Last night I spent about 3 hours working out the best way to get some dubstep in to my drum and bass mixes and then you drop this... Fate!
I recently have been learning how to do the same and it is fun
Same dude, also try to combine psytrance and dubstep, nearly the same bpm and sounds epic imo
I love the energy you transfer true your videos and they are so helpful so big thank you 😊
Great attitude and keeping it light and positive. Thanks for the tutorials! Can’t wait to watch the rest!
Dude, I absolutely accidentally discovered this video, but the vibe that you give is what made me watch this whole thing from start to finish! Awesome tips explained in an easy & understandable way! Great stuff man.
You’re such a legend!!!! I love all your videos
Dude, I love your energy and the info you're sharing is super helpful. Thank you!
Its rare to see DJs adjusting Bass to give a smooth sound transition from one track to the next. Nice to see!!!
I’ve been getting back into having fun DJing and learnt so much from your videos. Now I just watch them for your positive energy and infectious attitude. Such a top dude!
For real Though some of the most fun videos to watch, I can’t tell you how many different channels I’ve watched, this is by far the most beneficial video I’ve seen. I gotta agree with everyone else, this was the most fun ive ever had while watching a tutorial video and the vibes, energy, you can hear and feel the true passion and love for what you do! Thanks for making these and can’t wait to see what else you have in store!
Your energy is infectious! Thank you for ALL of the knowledge you have passed on. Keep. up the great work
Another fantastic tutorial.. I like the idea of the slip roll blend transitions & yes people love hearing tracks they recognise and.. I speed up slow down the pitch.. because it fun, I have VDJ and Nurmark party mix and still the same transition, how ever it’s easier doing on a controller as you have more control..
Amazing content, thank you for all that you do!
You are a legend... Love your teaching style and smile ❤️ Keep spreading happiness 🤩
Your note about the DJs at events/weddings being too hard on ourselves makes sense! Also I learned about transition tracks on this episode thank you!
Great tips, thanks Andrew.
The last transition is sooooo useful, thanks man!!!
Wish they were all easy like this one. Every scenario is different. Good videos. Thanks!
Dang bro, you're so fun and happy, thank you for helping us.
You probably the sweetest guy out there teaching DJing! Thank you for the lesson! ❤️
I watched many Dj tips videos on CZcams but honestly,YOU ARE THE BEST OF ALL OF THEM,
Thanks mate
Love the energy man keep up good man!!!
Best DJ tutorials/inspiration on youtube by far!
Gonna be a great vid been using janky tricks for a while. Appreciate the posts!
This info is so fantastic. I was just having issues with this today. Trying to mix Christmas music and it's all so different. This will help. Thanks
I was looking for videos on how to mix different genres and bpm's and your video came first. I honestly have butterflies as this Saturday i play for my first private party..I've always played House music but now I'm playing other genres and watching your video has REALLY HELPED ME. I cant wait to go and practice. Thankyou so much.
Been djing since the 90s and your videos give the most useable substance out of anything on CZcams I’ve found. Quality content!
thanks for all the vids chap.. youve taught me tons
Thanks again, still very usefull tips, looking forward to meet and hear you somedays in Australia !
And also the use of slip rolls. Interesting concept. Like It!!!
Another superb mini tutorial from my favourite DJ CZcamsr! 🎤🎧😎
i love the enthusiasm keep it up!
you are so charming in your elaborations with that constant smile. thanks!
What a nice bloke! Loved those tips on tempo change. I normally just crash in after a wind-back so you're much more advanced. Great channel.
The Bob Ross of DJs! Always super positive, I love watching Andrew's videos.
Great tips. Thx
Love it dude! Gonna go try it out. Cheers!
I haven’t even got my own mixer yet and I feel you have taught me how to DJ 😂, Serioisly the best teacher on CZcams and the positive energy in your videos is amazing. I’m loving every single one of them. Seriously please just keep doing what you are doing and you will have 1M subs in no time, saving up for you course when I get a mixer 😁👍
Go for it 💙
Get a ddj400 and you are set for life ☺️
This was a great one!
OMG you are literally a life saver. Thank you so much for breaking this down and giving me some cool stuff to play around with. Also I love that you look like you're having so much fun with it 😂 that's how it should be!
Dude I love you! You’re the bomb and have such a cool energy. Keep it up
Thanks for the info. I stuck around because your attitude is awesome. Cool dude
Very awesome 👏 perfect 👌 instructor
I Love It!! Bro, You're Awesome!!
Really helpful stuff! so cool
Great tutorial- love your style 👍
Well explained- I’m mostly open format and have to execute all 3 transitions on a daily. Makes it fun especially when you’ve never done a particular transition before and you don’t know if it will be on point or sound like something you might need to take back to the drawing table.
Love this!! I hope I can add a bit. Backspin once and then drop it. I also tried to increase the tempo in the breakdown and then switch in the verse. Sometimes you are lucky and one song fits into the other because it is about twice as fast.
Love u dude! You look like a guy who I'd like to learn from. You are so passionate about Dj-ing , as we can tell it quite easy. Keep it up bro! and again love yours lessons!
Loving the vibe here :D
Thank you really appreciate your videos....🙏🙏
Great video was really interesting specially for me as hip hop music has so much bpm variances.
That was HOT!! Thank youuu
I really loved this.. super informative..
It’s all about the crowd i totally agree I do parties and there all open format so it’s anything from 70 bpm to 135. This is a good break down for a beginner DJ. Being a club DJ is so much easier your playing one genre of music maybe 2 todays DJ don’t use headphones and SYNC! I don’t knock it but definitely learn how to mix without it.
man, I have no time for djing now, but watching your videos makes me feel well and I can not skip the notification...
That last transition, was a banger ✌️✌️✌️
You are a really fun and energetic professor of this art and I truly appreciate learning from you bro.
Thank you so much 😀
Legend!
transition 3 was smooth!!!

just watching this makes me smile
Thanks for the inspiration!
Any time!
I just discovered slip rolls the other day as I was looking through the setting on my controller but didn't really play with it too much yet. After seeing your video I'm totally going to try it out to jump to a higher bpm for the second track
This guy is the coolest dude
Logged in just to say huge respect. Been a club Dj for over 6 years and your advice for newcomers is spot on.
Sometimes you have to sacrifise your “planned set” or “comfortable mixing” to change up those genres to adapt to the moment.
A lot of young djs believe all they need to do is come in and play their prepped 1hr set. Keep pushing that advice and you will slowly make this industry better.
Top work mate, subscribed
really helpful
A lot of music is being commercialized now. Personally I tend to listen to tracks that the general public doesn’t.
You don’t always have to mix harmonically just try your best not to get too crazy with the variations. If your playing House you can mix Tech House, Deep House, Electro House, Dance and some Electro Pop.
I’m not crazy about using transition tracks but there are a lot on record pools.
These days I have one record pool and buy WAV tracks on Beatport / BeatSourse.
Lol, Drunk people aren’t going to hear 150 BPM to 110 BPM.
As always a pleasure to watch your videos Andrew.
Another cool high bpm transition is creating a un-quantized loop on the first track where there's a vocal and matching the size of that loop to the faster songs beat grid, then you create a vocal loop which can be beat matched to the next song.
F yes, can sometimes be a lot of work though and I often lean towards the path of least resistance, but 100% this can be a ton of fun :) :)

Greetings from Lithuania 🇱🇹. Thanks man ✌️💪
🖐
Hey Andrew! I just bought your course today and looking forward to diving in. I'm a 31 year old dude with a family but looking for more hobbies in my life. I bought a controller in December of 2022 and gave myself a year timeline to be in clubs playing. Well, as you can guess, the controller is still sitting in that box due to life circumstances. Really looking forward to learning.
Thank you for the slip roll trick
You literally unconsciously taught me how to DJ 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Well said
Wuauw. I love your Energy, you are so “good vibe” keep it like that. The best’s of the lucks my friend. 👍🏼
Thank you so much 😁
This guy doesn't feel like a teacher to me; he's more like the most encouraging and influential father figure ever!
Best man ever 🙌🤠
As someone whos just getting into DJing i have to say the smile you had is after the last BPM jump is contagious.
Great video. It validated that what I'm doing normally is perfectly acceptable and taught me how to use slip rolls and effects to make a huge tempo jump into a cool transition.
thank you bro really learned a lot lol
