Implications of Long COVID in Patients with Substance Use Disorder

March 26, 2024: Monica Verduzco-Gutierrez, MD, Professor and Chair for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at UT Health San Antonio describes overlapping challenges and complications that arise when individuals with substance use disorder experience Long COVID, including their trajectory, treatment, and recovery. This session will also recognize the stigmatization of these disorders and discuss potential multidisciplinary strategies for these individuals.
