Hey everyone! We're Eric Lagerstrom and Paula Findlay. We're both professional triathletes; we train for and race triathlon for a living.

This week we finally did it. We moved to Bend. This has been a dream of mine for years and we were finally able to make it happen. We're so pumped to be in our favorite place to train and be near a lot of our good friends. We can't wait to share more!
We're launched our TTL Coffee Project last week! The coffee project will feature small roasters, coffee will ship out on the first of the month, and we'll walk through how we like to brew each roast. The goal of the coffee project is to help out these small roasters with some exposure and a little business boost to help them keep doing what they do! Tucson to Bend to Troutdale, back to Bend and back to Troutdale a couple of times. Moving out, moving in, buying appliances, getting in the workouts and most importantly exercising Flynn. Getting the vid produced this week was probably a pain the the ass, but it is much appreciated!! One final observation, wearing Birkenstock's in the snow, Paula is totally one tough lady!!
haha they're just so easy to take on and off when driving, leaving the house.. it's hard to let go when we were wearing them constantly in AZ. Editing is never easy, but it's worth it :)
Rain, shine, snow, or sleet, Paula sure is loyal to those Birkenstocks... Congrats on the epic new house guys, wishing you the best.

I laughed out loud when I saw that you were in Winnemucca. Haven’t thought of that place in years. That’s where we always stayed overnight when leaving too late on the Berkeley, CA to NY drive I did every year in grad school. #memories
Relocating to the most beautiful location to get the best backdrop for the training and the content. We did the same thing 😂. Congrats on the move!

My Sunday is now complete. A morning training ride, in beautiful spring UK, sunshine. And now my weekly "That Triathlon Life" Catch up. All my TTL things arrived last week. Just awaiting my newly ordered new Grey TTL cappuccino cup. To sit alongside my already owned white one on my coffee machine top. Happy house move. It is never a pleasure, and Eric you are right. You always find that when you move, you have way more stuff than you thought you had. Be happy in your new home. See you next week.

Miss the Bend trails. I used to run on the trail in the video on a daily basis and after a while it got boring. Now I miss it, ha!
I think that’s the natural cycle of most trails :) I miss Portland trails already!

we let ours (which were only one year old) go with our old house, because I thought they were included. Live and learn 🤦♂️

Thanks! We could have moved a lot faster if we weren't training.. we spaced it out over 3-4 days, and we're still definitely not unpacked lol

So, you have to become an actual citizen to race for a country, and Paula is actually residing here on an athlete work visa.

Hi Eric! How do you like the rollers ? Are these the 'quick-motion' ? I was looking at the Nero.. not sure which is best, Thanks!
I like these ones, but it would be awesome if they were “smart” like the Nero. I just ride Zwift using the Bluetooth signal from my power meter. I just didn’t want to drop the money on the Nero at the time. From what I can tell, the Nero has the same rocker feet, which I definitely like, in terms of feel

What is there to make fun of? He’s fantastic with the shots and camera, Flynn is amazing, and Paula is awesome. If he’s making fun of it he’s doing so out of envy.
