Despite their ancient origins, the Anunnaki have been subject to many
contemporary reinterpretations, notably in various fringe theories and works of pseudo-history. These often involve extraterrestrial influences and other speculative concepts, but these ideas are not supported by mainstream scholarship or historical evidence. But more on that later as well. The mythology of the Anunnaki is complex and spans several ancient cultures, with the earliest accounts coming from the Sumerians. Their stories, like many ancient mythologies, attempt to explain the origin of the world, the nature of gods and humanity, and the laws that govern existence.
In Sumerian mythology, the Anunnaki were initially viewed as celestial deities associated with various aspects of life and nature. However, the term Anunnaki gradually came to be associated more specifically with chthonic (underworld)
deities. In Mesopotamian mythology, the term "Anunnaki" was used to refer to deities in general, but it was often specifically associated with the deities of the underworld, the realm of the dead. However, this does not necessarily imply a negative or punitive association. In many ancient cultures, the world was perceived as a multitiered structure, often divided into heavens, earth, and underworld. Gods and goddesses were assigned to different realms based on their roles and functions.
The Anunnaki are depicted in various myths as judges in the underworld, ruling over the fate of the dead. For instance, the goddess Ereshkigal, the queen of the underworld, and Nergal, the god of death and plague, were both considered part of the Anunnaki. The reason why many of the Anunnaki were associated with the underworld is likely related to the Sumerians' beliefs about life, death, and the afterlife. The underworld, known as Kur or Irkalla, was considered a dreary, dark place where the
spirits of the dead existed in a shadowy version of their earthly life, sustained by libations and offerings from the living.
The Nephilim, as depicted in biblical traditions, are the offspring of the sons of gods (or fallen angels) and are described as giants.
In general, the Anunnaki and the fallen angels, who give birth to giants, or Nephilim, are separate entities from distinct cultural and religious contexts: Mesopotamian mythology and Hebrew religion, respectively.
Both undergo the wrath of God and try to teach humans knowledge.
Both the Anunnaki and the fallen angels are seen as powerful
beings with the ability to influence humanity.
The Book of Enoch, an ancient Jewish religious work, ascribes the origins of sin and corruption on earth to a group of angels known as the "Watchers," who fell from grace by mating with human women and teaching humanity forbidden knowledge. But rather than the Anunnaki, This story shares more elements with the myth of the apkallu, seven wise
men or demigods in Mesopotamian mythology who were created by the god Enki (a member of the Anunnaki) to establish culture and give civilization to mankind.
Zecharia Sitchin refers to various Sumerian cuneiform texts to support his idea of the planet Nibiru. One key text he often cites is the "Enuma Elish," the Babylonian creation epic. Sitchin suggests that references to a celestial body called Marduk in this epic actually refer to Nibiru.
In the Enuma Elish, Marduk is portrayed as a "wandering planet" that collides with and splits Tiamat, a primordial goddess associated with the sea, in two. Sitchin interprets Tiamat as a pre-existing planet located between Mars and Jupiter. He suggests that one half of Tiamat became the asteroid belt, and the other half was struck by another of Marduk's moons and was pushed into a new orbit, becoming Earth.
However, Sitchin's interpretation of the Enuma Elish and his association of Marduk with Nibiru is heavily criticized by scholars. Mainstream interpretation reads the Enuma Elish as mythology and not a literal astronomical account. Furthermore, Sitchin's identification of Nibiru with Marduk is not supported by any extant cuneiform text. In fact, the term "Nibiru" in the extant texts is used to denote a point of crossing, and sometimes is associated with certain celestial bodies depending on their position in the sky, but it's never described as the home of the Anunnaki, nor as an additional planet in our solar system with an unusual orbit, as
    Sitchin claims.

As an accomplished astronomer, I maintain that Sitchen to my knowledge is the only translator who presented his interpretations outlining the Anunnaki's complete comprehension of the existing solar system in its entirety. All of this summary was based on the Sumerian cuneiform tablets in addition to cylinder seals with many faceted space entity symbols ingrained while manifesting the sun, moon and numbered planets in addition to figurines clothed in what appeared to be astronaut-like utilities.. Furthermore, in his Earth Chronicles 12th Planet compendium, Sitchin often validated the earlier researchers/translators who despite their scholarly approaches were hindered by their time era where the space age knowledge of today was nonexistent. For me, I go with the humble and reflective-interpretations of Zecharia Sitchin as he challenged the entrenched mindsets of today's self -professed experts, who appear to be jealous of his wide acceptance by the many.

One thing that irks me is who often people confuse Annunaki/Nephilim/Daemons. It’s as easy as this: Annunaki are the bene-elohim spirits appointed to many different tasks and stations to see to the creation and all that the Creator commands.
Nephilim are the children between the Annunaki and the women of the earth which are spirits that were never meant to be, unclean spirits, demons. That’s why the immortal spirits of the Annunaki were removed and imprisoned while the nephilim were forced to walk the earth until judgment day for if they were to die and cross into the heavenly dimension outside of time as we experience it, it would break the will of the Father Creator. Thus they are doomed to walk the earth constantly looking for vessels(people) to inhabit and if anyone who doesn’t live under a rock just look at their phone or turn on the TV will clearly see through the news and hollywood/ entertainment industry that these beings are reveling today almost as if their fathers were released for the time is near so they’re going amok with rage and debauchery only they were capable of like in the days of their time or the days of Noah.

It's always funny to me when people accuse Sitchin's translation as "amateurish" when in his time, there were basically only specialized archeologists who could read Sumerian tablets. Sitchin taught himself Sumerian because he had no other option. I think we can give him some leeway on his translation since he was the one blazing the trail for others in the first place. Also the guy with the mop beard and fairy wings isn't exactly instilling confidence.

The interesting thing about the idea of God's flying in craft isn't only found in Sitchins work, but also in ancient Indian text. As for Niburu, it's been found by Nasa. The last time it was recorded viewed in the sky, the most famous record was the star which was followed. This was also backed by Chinese Astrologers at the time.
There is also the Emerald Tablets where Thoth speaks that he was the builder of the pyramids, and that he stored his craft underneath the Sphinx. This came from the interpretation of Issac Newton.
I'm not saying that the work is absolute, but that when you find things like star charts carved into the pyramids which are only seen in the age of Leo, it sort of makes you question why they are there, when apparently they were built in the age of Taurus.

By the time many of these cuneiform tablets were created, the "true stories" of the Anunnaki would have been thousands of years old. More than enough time to be skewed from historical record to myth. Sitchin was not attempting to translate the exact stories word for word from the texts, but rather to extract the real stories the myths originated from. Sitchin's vision was limited by the technologies of his day (rocket ships, spacesuits, etc.) and this is usually what critics cherry pick as seen here in the video. The criticisms around the root words, at face value, are legitimate, but when considering how old the myths and language actually are, there is no issue. Of course, over the millennia, the definition of the root words eventually just became a new meaning, i.e. Annunaki, the root words meaning "from heaven to earth they came" eventually just became the word for "Gods". Even the butterfly example given here is just a lack of practically applied imagination, more likely one could guess butter was something fly like creatures are attracted to or due to their own coloration being similar to butter, and eventually came to define a whole genus. Sitchin looks at the root words rather than the most recent meaning that we see in the cuneiform and comes to some startling conclusions about what these ancient myths might have actually been describing. Absolutely some of his conclusions don't hold up, but the incredible thing Sitchin actually did is to open up the conversation about ways to interpret our ancient myths.

I've always mentally compared Nibiru to Bifrost. Bifrost was often described as the rainbow bridge connecting Midgard to the other worlds, while seeming to have been a description and misunderstanding of the Milky Way. That's where my brain went when I first learned of Nibiru and what it seems to have referred to.

It's not a coincidence that Asgarda was created in Ukraine since the ancient home of Asgard is located in the black sea region which is now called Ukraine.
The kingdom of Urartu lasted from 1,000 BC to 1 BC which is the Lake Van location on the opposite side of the black sea from Aratta a separate but interconnected kingdom based on my research which is located near the black sea region we call the country of Ukraine.
Urartu is comprised of Ur + Ar and Tu from Go-yong TǔTán the wife of Gomer and daughter of King Dula.
Modern historians have connected the Alans with the Central Asian Yancai mentioned in Chinese records and there is an Asian Medical Center called Dula which is spelling variation of the word "Doula" which a person who is employed to provide guidance and support to a pregnant woman during labor.
The Alans descend from the Massagetae and Geta was the ancestor of the Getae and was a son of Ashkenaz the son of Gomer.
While experimenting with the name Ashkenaz I came up with Asian-Ka-Nese and Ash-Cantonese and there is a tribe called Akha as in Akha-Nese who currently live in the mountains of Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Yunnan Province in China.
Ash-Tubal also known as Tuobal (Tuoba people) and Taobao was the son of Gomer and grandson of Japheth and was the ancestor of the Batak people who until 1825 lived in isolation in the highlands surrounding Lake Toba in Sumatra.
Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth and this technique originated from the island of Java, Indonesia.
The “ash” part of his name could refer to him being born in a village not far from the Toba supervolcano or it could be a Hebrew name that means "happy".
The name “Tubal” has many different meanings but the one that makes a lot of sense at least for Ash-Tubal means the “earth”, “the world”, “confusion” which makes sense if his family lived not far from an active volcano.
It's also very interesting that the word "Happy" as in Hapi also spelled Hapy the son of Horus and grandson of Osiris and the connection to the Hebrew word "ash" that means "happy" and the Hapiru tribe also spelled Habiru which is similar to Hebrew which derives from Heber also called Eber the ancestor of the Hebrew people.
(Here are some Iranian tribes and their descent from Noah)
King Sarmata the ancestor of the Iranian Sarmatians and a son of Ashkenaz.
Madai the son of Japheth and ancestor of the Iranian Medes and Persians.
Gilak the son of Tyrrhenus and grandson of Japheth and the ancestor of the Iranian Gilaks and the Gilaki people live both alongside the Alborz mountains, and in the surrounding plains.
Jurjan the ancestor of the Iranian Gorgans, son of Lud and grandson of Shem the brother of Japheth and Medusa the granddaughter of Noah was called Gorgo the Gorgon and the irainan Gorgans built a giant brick wall that protected their kingdom, and they nicknamed it the "Red Snake" because the color of the bricks.
Mount Ararat derives its name from Aratta that traces its roots back to 20,000 BC so it's well known that Mount Ararat was called "holy mountain" by the ancestors of the Armenians because they descend from Hayk King of Hark and his descendants founded the Haykazuni dynasty.
The rainbow bridge to Asgard is the Scandinavian version of the Covenant of the Rainbow mentioned in the Book of Genesis which is named for Genius the son of Japheth and grandson of Noah.
Hayk and his family founded Armenia which was called Ar-Mania which derives from the name of the city state of Ur, and Hayk was born in Babylon the son of Togarmah and grandson of Gomer the son of Japheth.
Noah is the 4th great grandson of Dinah the wife of Mahalalel and they are the grandparents of Henoch "Enoch" also known as "Idris" of Aruzan and it appears that many ancestors of Noah were already in Iran pre-Noah's flood and Lamech the father of Noah according to legend died at age 777 in Mihtarlam, Afghanistan which means "Chief Lam" according to the Miautso People of China.
Aruzan derives its name from Akhazukhan "Achuzan" one of the sons of Enoch and according to legend the firstborn son of Enoch, Methuselah, and his brothers constructed an altar at Achuzan, the location where Enoch had been taken to heaven.
Notice his name Akhazukhan and the similar short name for the Akha tribe of Southeast Asia?
The Tibeto language is named for Thai tea known as Tytea by the ancient Greeks one of the wives of Noah and Batawil the son of Tyrrhenus and grandson of Japheth.
Thai, Ti and Ty are spelling variations of each other, and Tea originates in ancient China and Chín Tutan "Tchin" was a great grandson of Gomer the son of Japheth-Nese "Japanese" the ancestor of the people of Japan and the descendants of Chín Tutan founded the Ch'in dynasty and is where China gets its name.
The "bet" in Tibeto is a spelling variation of Bat in the name Batawil as is Bir Tawil an area of land along the border between Egypt and Sudan which is named for him.
The Batwa also called Twa people of Africa derive their tribal name from his name Batawil who was also known as Benawyl and where Benawil the name of a location in Chad (Africa) derives its name.
Nabu "Tutu" the founder of the Bantu tribe of Africa was a brother of Osiris, and they were the sons of Marduk, grandsons of Enki and great grandsons of Noah and Osiris was the father of Horus who was the father of Hapi who founded the Hapiru tribe of Babylon.
According to legend Maasaw "Masaw" was the name of a Hopi guardian who guided the Hopi across a large ocean, after a great flood that covered the Earth (probably meaning that the floodwaters impacted the whole planet and nearly wiped-out mankind) he gave the Hopi a small stone tablet that they needed for permission to occupy the new land.
Massawa is a city located in the Northern Red Sea region of Eritrea that was once part of the kingdom of Axum founded by Ityopp'is founder of ʾĪtyōṗṗyā (Ethiopia) the son of Cush and grandson of Ham.
The Hopi word for “ant” anu, and Hopi word naki means “friends" and the Anunnaki hybrids were the sons of Noah who was also known as the sky god Anu.
It's very interesting that the word "Igiugig" the name of a village in Alaska which is pronounced iggy-AH-gig "sounds similar to the word "Igigi" and the word Igiugig means "Like a throat that swallow's water" in the Yup'ik language and according to Akkadian legend the Igigi are put to work digging a watercourse by the more powerful Anunnaki.
Mount Nebo is named for Nabu the son of Marduk who according to legend owned a giant snake that was said to be an enemy of Ra and King Hammon the great grandson of Cush and Raamah the son of Cush both deified as the Egyptian god called Amun Ra.
According to legend Apep was the name of a giant snake known as "Serpent from the Nile" and "Evil Dragon" and he was described as being about 48 feet in length and flint shaped head.
      (My interpretation)
The head of the snake was triangular shaped or shaped like a flint arrowhead.
Gigantophis garstini, a giant snake from the time of the Eocene era that once lived in the region experts call modern day Egypt.
It's more than likely Apep was either a descendent of Gigantophis garstini or from a similar giant snake.
The snake Gigantophis whose name in Greek means "giant snake" was discovered by Charles W. Andrews in 1901 and the ancient Greeks descend from Javan the son of Japheth and the distance from El Faiyum, Egypt where the giant snake was located to Babylon, Iraq where Marduk ruled is about 1,046 miles.
Hua-Mu'ak married Selah the son of Cainan and grandson of Arpachshad the son of Shem and we can tell that Kanien is a spelling variation of the name Kainan and the connection to the Kanien'kéha the language of the Mohawk people.
Hua-Mu'ak was the mother of Eber the founder of the Hebrews and her name is similar to the Mohawk tribe of America their name is pronounced ˈmōˌhôk and the name tomahawk appears to derive from the name Ne'elatama'uk also spelled "Na'eltama'uk" one of the wives of Ham.
Tomahawk is pronounced ˈtäməˌhôk and the Mohawk people and there Kanien'kéha language “People of the Flint” as in flint arrowheads and remember that Apep was the name of a giant snake with a flint shaped head and Na'eltama'uk was a wife of Ham the father of Canaan notice the similarities with tama'uk (Tomahawk) and the name for the Mohawk people and the name Mu'ak?
The Mohawk people and the Battle of Mohi named for Muhi which was southwest of the Sajó River that flows through Slovakia and Hungary and the similarities of the name Mohicans this name could have been created because it was a name to describe the people of ancient Muhi who were originally Canaanites who descend from the ancient Sinites that descend from King Siniah the son of Canaan the son of Ham and the name of the Shoshone tribe pronounced SHōˈSHōnē and the river Sajó in the Hungarian language is pronounced SHOH-yoe a spelling variation of the name Yue a group of Sinitic languages spoken in Southern China and notice the word Sinitic and the connection to Sinites and the word sinner which is pronounced ˈsi-nər as in Sennaar as in the Land of "Shinar" the ancient homeland of the Sinites.
The Akkadians called the city of Nippur by the name Nibbur and the Sumerian name for it is Nibru which based on my research comes from the name Nabu and notice the "ru" in the names Nibiru and Hapiru and the name Rushash "Rossi" the ancestor of the Kievan Rus the son of Tyrrhenus and grandson of Japheth.
The mother of Rushash was Cacia a daughter of Ham and Kezia the daughter of Tubal-cain King of Ur whose sister Naamah married Noah and Osiris was also known as Assur and Russia is an anagram of Asirus a spelling variation of the name Osirus which is his Greek name and there was an ancient Babylonian city called Assorus which was most likely named for him.

Definitely ancient Sumerian history and mythology fascinating. Thanks to Ashurbanipal, today we know about the Anunnaki and the ancient stories about them described by the Sumerians. Though the amazing library of Ashurbanipal which contained knowledge from all over the world was burnt down, the records of the ancient Sumerians survived. But how so? Well, actually, thanks to the cuneiform tablets being on clay in the fire, they were actually baked and preserved intact until their discovery. However, the more interesting fact is that many of the stories described in these tablets relating to the religion and beliefs of the ancient Sumerians in the Anunnaki came from the planet Nibiru , who appear to be deities of the Sumerians are contained in the Bible and the Pentateuch of the Torah, which is the original source of the Old Testament. Only the names of the characters are different. So the question follows , were biblical accounts copied from ancient Sumerian history?
This we can ask today thanks to the Sumerian, Ashurbanipal and some of the earliest written records surviving in his personal library.

@@miikeV33 Thanks for the reply but atheists don't "worship", mike. In fact, that's kind of a problem inherent in faith-based decision making. By definition, you must exclude facts and evidence from consideration except what is cherry picked to support your faith. Faith is a belief that demands reality conform to it. But Reality is what it is regardless of what you believe it to be unless you have already ascertained facts and evidence in support of what you believe. The bad news is that putting your faith in stories passed down from a pre-scientific culture a few generations beyond the stone age is a really bad idea if you are trying to make a space-age, high-tech, globe spanning civilization work. Those folks did a great job for their times and they deserve credit for recording history and discerning the deep workings of human nature. But they also set out a moral code which is inflexible and intolerant as it purports, without evidence, to be the blueprint of the "creator." And people throughout the centuries who questioned the wisdom or truthof the dicta were often harshly sanctioned. Whose idea do you suppose it was to kill people for the crime of disbelief?
If one accepted the existence of demons, that contrivance would seem to fit the bill to a T indicating their handiwork On the other hand, science seeks to understand the world from a standpoint that facts and evidence precede belief. Atheists, in fact, not only don't worship demons, they don't even consider demons to be real.

I disgree that it reflects "a bias that humans could not build" do the ancient structures. Because, he specifically points to the descriptions of the annunaki, the definition of "from the hevens came", and their flight around the world. Just some added info from Anton Parks. Not all the gods who came to Earth were considered Anuna, or Annunaki. The gods who followed Enlil, were considered the Anuna, who had more authority and could do no wrong. Enlil was more like a Military Leader, and quite strict in his rule. The gods following Enki, were considered the Nungals, and subject for punishment if doing the same as the Anuna.. Enki had given humankind as a whole, more intelligence and creativity. Enki and his gods developed a friendly relationship with the humans, teaching them skills that Enlil had not approved, so they were always labeled as inferior to Enlil and his rule over Earth. The Nephilim, were the offspring of the 200 Nungals who descended to Earth and had intimate relations with human woman, according to Biblical Text.

A clue @1:40, "Giving birth to kings who put in the god Diadem".
Diadem is the second-brightest star in Coma Berenices. Coma Berenices is characterized by the large, triangular-shaped open cluster, Melotte 111, which is located further to the west. It's the faint cluster stars that represent the queen's hair. Coma Berenices is next to the head of Virgo.
"At her rising Erigone (Virgo, who reigned with Justice over a bygone age and fled when it fell into sinful ways, bestows high eminence by bestowing supreme power; she will produce a man to direct the laws of the state and the sacred code; one who will tend with reverence the hallowed temples of the gods." [Astronomica, Manilius, 1st century AD, p.265]
When the Sun is sitting at the center of our galaxy, in Sagittarius, called the Golden Gate of the Gods, it takes 9 months to create a child, placing the Sun over there by Diadem, between Virgo and Leo. Alula is one of 3 sets of twin stars known as the 3 leaps of the Gazelle, or the paws of Ursa Major. Alula means "Firstborn", it takes 7 hours for the Firstborn to drop down to the horizon, being replaced by the She Goat star, we called Vega, they called the Goddess Bau/Gula, the mother of Damu "The Child", Alula replaces Hatysa, the Sword of Orion, his love spear LOL, in Hebrew haat means 'to sin', yasa means 'savior', backwards "Savior of Sinners". Take your pick, December of September, they both have the same star alignments, but a 7 hour difference, which is 6,606 hours apart, or 9 month, 666 the number of man and the beast.
Orion is the Ploughman, and Gaia is the Horizon, Alula is the thumb on a bird wing, the thumb is a symbol of Judgement, wings are symbols of messengers, you'll be receiving a Thumbs Down for your video, even if its good. LOL my message to you, for using Plough & Gaia, you got from me.

Nergal is Pabilsag, and Pabilsag is Sagittarius. When the Sun is in Sagittarius, during the month of December, home of the Winter Solstice, when the Sun stands next to the little bloody red spot Spiculum, meaning Spear, where you find stars of Sagittarius 7 & 9 (79). Sagittarius is shaped like a Teapot, play Spiculum in reverse, you hear it echo "Mother Cupps". the words "Her Message, Say There Is A Guest" played in reverse "Sagittarius, December", how odd is that. Pabilsag is known as the father of Damu the child, the son of the She Goat, the Harp Star Vega.
The Sumerian word Pabil means ‘ancestor or relative’. In combination with the final element sag, meaning ‘chief or foremost’, his name can be translated as the ‘Chief Ancestor’ or ‘Forefather’. Damu name meaning is Blood, God of healing, son of Gula, goddess of healing. Damu is a name that indicates a gift of gab - the ability to persuade others effortlessly.

How do we know Samuel Noah Kramer in the 50's correctly translated all these old Sumerian hieroglyphics?

    • @76rjackson
      @76rjackson Před 9 měsíci +27

That's a good question. Sumerian is a language isolate, with no modern descendants with which it can be compared like Champollion gleaned clues to ancient Egyptian from Coptic. It's written form is highly symbolic with many polyvalent monosyllables that one often sees in tonal languages (and it has classifiers, too) but it's unknown if it was, in fact, tonal. In short, it's devilishly difficult.
On the other hand, Sumerian culture and language were so admired by subsequent civilizations that their language was preserved and honored, like Latin or Sanskrit is today. Archeologists through the years have found mucho more tablets that served as, for example, bilingual student vocabulary lists or Sumerian teaching aids of a sort, so a rather solid corpus of Sumerian language has been built up over the years. Kramer in the 50s already had a lot of material to work with, work done by the early enthusiasts eager to learn the mysteries of the ancient land 9f Shinar. Of course academics love an argument almost as much as a government grant so there are lots of papers splitting hairs over the meaning of specific lexical items because "publish or perish" is still the name of the game but the quibbling eventually leads to consensus particularly when new material lends new insight into the old language. And after all, language works because of consensus but that's a rabbit hole if you want to play Alice. Think of learning Sumerian like doing a jigsaw puzzle with a bunch of pieces missing. Kramer probably had the material, knowledge and skill to assemble a decent view of the puzzle's picture but with a few big holes, lots of empty places scattered about like dead pixels, and a small pile of extra pieces whose proper place wasn't clear. But stepping back one can see the big picture pretty clearly. Think of assigning a probability of accuracy to each and every word being translated. The graph would be heavily skewed to the right with many words carrying a value of its meaning being 100% known, and a long tail trailing off to 0% or unknown.
The less well known a language the more left shift your graph shows. Over time the certainty of understanding increases.

Very interesting stuff! Lots of interesting points. I grew up a Jehovah's witness still would say im into Christianity but ive definitely been lost spiritually just trying to figure stuff out. The Yahweh video on him being the devil had alot of interesting points! Definitely trying to have a open mind to figure stuff out.

Very well done video. I appreciate that you took out the time to show how little the ancient astronaut theory holds up to actual evidence and correct sumerian interpretation.
