Hyundai's Diesel Engines have very good performance. Even Verna 1.6 CRDI use to cruise at 180+ very very easily. I20 with 1.4CRDI use to cruise 150+ very much easier. Here there's no restriction on private vehicle's speed limit. There r regulations to drive on roads but..!

I believe that the automobiles sold in America, are electronically restricted by the manufacturer, not to exceed a certain speed, in the interest of safety. That's a good thing. They should do the same thing in India too, because nobody follows traffic rules in India. At least in America, road users/motorists are disciplined and follow rules.
