The lava isn't infinite, but the world is(to a resonable amount). You're gonna be waiting a few hundred years or so to drain the whole nether

He should make more holes and make them bigger. More lava drains at once=lava drains faster. It’s still going to take a while, but the bigger the holes, the faster it’ll be.
