Hey, bro, ive been on a binge of kendrick reactions for the last few weeks in creating my own work, and i want to say - bro, bless you. Your genuine interest, and focus - not pandering towards the racial tensions, or motovated by guilt - literally made viewers, liie myself, feel like you really care, and, are one of us. Manyyyyy people dont go to the second part of the song - honestly first video that has - and it shows you are sincerely into it, like a true brother, kin, family member. I usually say this is a song to get to once you have a lot of kendrick under your belt but you did a great job for a first liste. You definitely got the main jist of everything but of course like with any kendrick song...you could dig deeper and deeper. You could teach a class on it lol so much material. At the end of the second verse the woman's perspective says they will never fade away just as the beat fades away. In the second song, kendrick accents his syllables on the up beat which adds a surreal sense of suspense to the track, him and his homies on the hunt for the murderer but thankfully are interrupted by the woman who saves them. I am not religious but this song brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it.

The cool part about GKMC is its a audio movie that tells a complete story from start to finish. The prayer at the end can be heard at the beginning of the first song Sherane a.k.a. master splinter’s daughter.
In the album, there’s a skit where Kendrick’s mother lectures Kendrick and Kendrick’s friends about the street life, she tells them they need to get baptized because they are dying of thirst and on their way to hell, hence it being somewhere hot where your thirst would be quenched. That’s what kendrick meant by that phrase. His music is really deep so you honestly have to listen to his projects as a whole to really understand what he’s saying.

Great content but if I had one suggestion it would be to not look up lyrics while the song is playing. It kinda ruins the reaction and takes away from the moment a bit. Plus Kendrick isn’t that hard to understand

Kendrick’s cadence is notoriously kinda funky and hard to sign along to unless you’ve heard the song, so no worries!
