I’d never thought about this but you’re so right. Most songs that get overplayed on the radio I just get sick of but his songs I still love just as much and they still pack the same emotional punch, no matter how many times I hear them.
How do you even get used to his voice?
Lewis never disappoints, his vocals are always on point!! He and Niall were supposed to tour together this year and we were absolutely robbed of seeing the two of them together!!

First song I ever heard from Lewis was "Someone You Loved." I sobbed through the whole thing. I was gobsmacked when I discovered he was the voice behind that song and immediately downloaded his album. "Bruises" is in my top 3 on the album. However, this is the first time I've heard this song stripped down like this. This was a masterful performance vocally.

When this video was first at like a 1000 views that's when niall's cousin showed him this video and niall slid into his DM's and praised him and asked him if ever wanted to play a song at his show he's welcome. Lewis played a few songs at niall's Glasgow show and now niall and lewis are best friends and obviously Lewis is obviously more famous now.
React to “Someone you loved” with his uncle Peter and “Before you go” are very emotional. “Before you go” is about his aunt that committed suicide when he was young so he’s singing it from his mom point of view.

Lewis Capaldi is an artist that never fails to get me emotionally engaged when he sings. The guy performs the socks off his songs, but also his writing is really skillful. His lyrics know how to cut to the core even though they can seem simple on the surface. I would definitely say yes to more Lewis videos. I think he's one of the only people who sold out a stadium tour before his first album was released. He sold it out on the back of like two singles, it's incredible. (Also fun fact because you did a Yungblud video earlier- Lewis used to perform with Yungblud's guitarist Adam when they were growing up as a double act, and Lewis stayed with them on and off when they were all trying to get signed and are really good friends. It's been pretty cool seeing them end up at the same new artist awards and stuff.)
His songs are so emotional and heartbreaking, and in interviews and on social media he is such a goof ball. Such a contrast. It shies how truly talented he is.

Oh how i wish i could go back to the first time i heard his voice and how it made me feel! It has been a year and a half or so since i discovered him and still listening to his album on the daily. I literally listen to it at least once, then i get on youtube and listen to his covers, different versions of his songs and some unreleased live songs. He has a voice that touches the soul. Also, he is even better now, that video you watched was about 2 or 3 years ago and with popularity, im pretty sure he got a vocal coach so he wouldnt destroy his voice (it is worth a fortune now after all). Best voice in the business at the moment imo! I absolutely love watching the reaction of people who never really listened to him, takes me back :) And he has the absolute best sense of humour!

He has the most insane voice. EVER. I'm just here to say that live he does not only sound exactly the same as on the studio versions but BETTER.

When I first heard this song I had an immediate reaction to it. Goosebumps all over my skin, and tears in my eyes. It really was so beautiful to listen to. The raspiness of his voice is a gift and its so powerful. Im so glad you reacted to it because I think my reaction was the exact same way when I first heard it. However, this is my first listening to it stripped down and it sounds just as amazing. Bravo!!!

I saw him live last year and he's amazing! Not only is he talented af but he's a comedian as well, I kept laughing constantly between songs. Def. recommend listening to his debut album and watching interviews with him.
I've been a fan of this man for years!! He was once so underground until he just blew up one day and it was awesome to see, although i miss him being a little secret! He is so incredible live and just purely entertaining, singing or not. Highly recommend checking out more of his music, Lost on you and Fade are my favourites!
I absolutely adore Lewis!! I had the great honor of seeing him perform live on the release day of his debut album and it was the most incredible concert I’ve ever been to. To hear him live is something completely different. He sings the saddest and most honest songs and is one of the funniest people in the music business at the same time.
I love his friendship with Niall, who discovered him on CZcams when Lewis was still relatively unknown. These two are definitely soul mates. They did a cover of Teenage Dream last year and they sound absolutely amazing together. Please checkt this out🙌🏻

I heard him for the first time on a New Year's Eve show. I wasn't super into the acts that were chosen, they just aren't who I listen to and so I was mostly ignoring the music. When he started singing though, I was completely shook. He did Before You Go and if his voice wasn't enough the lyrics in the chorus had me crying. I didn't look more into his stuff until this past weekend, that's why I'm here now, and honestly shame on me for waiting. Such a unique voice and absolutely beautiful songs 💗

I saw him live in 2018 as a supporting act of Rag'n'bone man and i was immediately hooked. I still think that "Bruises" is better than "someone you loved", and i'm kinda glad i heard him when he still was unknown.
When I first heard his song "Before you go" I cried. He wrote it about an aunt who took her own life and my big brother did the same so I relate so much to the lyrics. His voice and his lyrics are incredible! Wish I could see him in concert but it's just too expensive for me 😭
