Wanted to let you know. They are ending Arcane, but have already started storyboarding their next series telling the stories of another region in Runeterra. They also mentioned the possibility of a movie and that we will hear more before the end of the year
I hate grimdark stories, but I love tragedies. Arcane is the second for me- it's horribly sad and dark, but in a deeply poetic way that gives catharsis even as it breaks your heart.
Arcane is the reason I subscribed to Netfiix in the first place. It was one of the best things I watched the entire year, and I am so pumped for Season 2.
By the way, this is the end of Arcane, but Riot Games has confirmed they're planning more projects with Studio Fortiche and want to announce more by the end of the year!

I agree so much with everything you’ve said. As an add-on, I’ve never played LoL, but omg I need more shows about other regions, since I know that the world of the game is huuuuuge, and I need to see other characters in their own shows because I’ve seen the designs, I’ve read their backstory and I need more of them.
I adored Arcane season 1 and am so looking forward to season 2 - Arcane is my favourite animated series for all the stories, voice acting, visuals, themes, music. 😁🥰
Back when the first season ended, me and the person I was watching it with started spitballing how to build the bigger universe out from it (my idea was to have Ambessa Medarda rock up to the pirate island and park there to mourn, and the locals banding together for protection against her now-leaderless goons) but I totally agree that keeping it as this brief special thing of undeniable quality is an honourable move
I like watching you get excited for some upcoming project, no matter what it happens to be
Oh yeah ! Been waiting for this since the end of the last series. Fantasy world with realistic, characters with believable motivations is so rare. And the artwork was sooo good, amazing use of colour / lighting. I have a fan theory about the background to this. I think the power of the blue gems is that they can connect to each other through time, and they form a loop, the future becomes the past and the only way to change the cycle is via "the mutation", remember that weird scene with "the mutation must be preserved".

You can tell how utterly broken Vi is 😢. I might be reading into it…..but it just feels like, at least at the start of the season she has just hit the despair horizon. At the moment, there’s nothing but stopping Jinx.
I like this trailer and that it's left the fate of Jayce unresolved after the attack on the council. I wonder if there will be conflict in Piltover about how they respond to Jinx's attack as I can imagine Ambessa enacting collective punishment of Zaun's residents in reprisal for the attack as opposed to Caitlyn who is just focusing on Vi and Silco's associates.

i think this is just the end of the Jinx and Vi story... the other character shows will have their own different titles me think
I could never get into all the trauma. Seems obvious that things are going to end badly.
I’m hoping they actually end the story and pick up new ones in new styles!
