well to be fair, this isn't a legit comparison. Considering the wumpa coins are use for costumizable stuff, which are not nessecary to complete the game, while gems and relics are needed to 100% the games.
Though I still have to agree that the micro transaction thing is kinda bad sign. gettin Wumpa coins in game is allready quiet tuff and not everyone has the money to spend on microtransaction. Hope they don't get the idea to make the in game methods for Wumpa coins even worse.
They should have made the ingame collection better instead of comming with Micro transacton... of course, as usual, the people who have some shit tone of cash to spend don't really care.

It hasn't been confirmed that they're in another Grand Prix as far as I'm aware. They're probably in this one, just not in the trailer.
Two of the five characters in the last Grand Prix weren't revealed in the initial trailer. I think it's the same case here.
Remember this is just a trailer. The CTR TV broadcast is extended in-game when the event kicks off. Might show Baby Cortex and Baby N. Tropy there.

We know but why!!? The game is not F2P and it didn’t launch with the microtransactions So they could make people preorder it!! And most importantly, there’s no need to add microtransaction on a remake from the 90s, especially when it’s a crash bandicoot game!! This is gonna open a new path to future Crash Bandicoot games being unpolished, glitches, bad controls and etc!!

It's cheap, sure, but there's also no real reason to complain about it. If someone is willing to spend extra cash on the game just to get a fancy-looking kart or character, they can go right ahead; it's ultimately a win-win for both the player and the publisher because the latter gets a bigger paycheck while the former isn't in any way forced or obliged to spend the extra dough.
Again, it's cheap AF and I don't exactly condone it, but in the current climate of online gaming where nearly every game has them, I'm willing to shrug off microtransactions as long as they have no actual effect on the player experience.

Makes me wonder if somehow that would imply Fake Crash might be a distant ancestor of Crash.
Crash was created in Cortex's lab. He was probably an ordinary Bandicoot before Cortex used the Evolvo Ray on him. Fake Crash is probably the same sort of thing, or if you follow the canon from the GBA games he makes his first proper main series appearance when Aku Aku saves Crash from being sucked through a portal in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. This implies he's a sort of clone.
Fake Crash first appeared in Crash Bandicoot Warped. This was the game that introduced Time Travel, so his cameos in that game don't really place easily chronologically for when he was created. N.Sane Trilogy's version of the original trilogy features him in all 3 games, but Coco also time travels back to Crash 1 and 2 in that game so there's no reason Fake Crash couldn't have done the same.
Overall the best explanation we have for who Fake Crash is to Crash is that he's a clone that was created when N.Tropy tried to suck Crash through a portal and Aku Aku used his powers to save him. Fake Crash then likely got his hands on N.Tropy's Scepter, traveling through time to mess with history and peek at Crash's previous adventures.

Awesome to see Baby T-Rex make it in, he should've been in the original to be honest but ah well, better late than never. The new stage is looking great too, a nice throwback to the prehistory stages from the mainline games. Not too keen on the Baby Crash and Coco characters but that's mostly because I don't care for Baby-fied character slots (I felt the same for Mario Kart) and I would've rather we got someone like Nina Cortex & Koala Kong but eh, whatever. Hopefully they'll make it in soon. :)
