From my exoerience, don’t use meta decks. In just a month or 2 they’ll be nerfed.
No it's still fine, like if you use any golem or hog deck, you can usually swap out a few cards that get nerfed.
@@shlimey04 I mean like, currently, the strongest cards are giant Skelton, mirror, etc. don’t upgrade those cuz they will be nerfed
Use rouge decks, like 2.6 hog, xbow, 3.0 cycle, golem beat down, etc. These will always be good, not the best, but good. Should be enough to maybe get you into top 10k if you're good enough, and you could certainly get into top 1k with enough practice and giving up your life. It's very unlikely you'll push to top 300 without a meta deck, unless you've been grinding since game release.
As long as you stick with a really good graveyard or hog cycle deck it will almost always compete

I've been maxed for years. Nearly 10k wins so probably have around 20k matches under my belt. I can't escape 5,800-6,100 range. It's clear that I'm the problem as I copy top 10 player decks all the time so the decks should be good. I have a lot of respect for people who play at the top level.
Constantly switching up the decks does harm, since every deck has a different play-style. Max-out a meta deck that you think is interesting, and that you'll like to play and watch a top player play it (on CZcams, for example) and then learn to get better

Just play clasic challenges and you will improve faster
I used to play a deck that I made and enjoyed since the game came out (back when we were all noobs) But gradually I started making more diversity and versatility in my deck choice. Counting elixir and knowing card rotations all helped me beat over leveled trashcans.
Card level is what’s stoping me cuz I’m free to play
Masteries, magic items, challenges, chests, clan wars, tournaments and card requests are all ways to get your cards to a higher level

Well it’s probly cuz of the trophy count but still they need to fix the matchmaking
I do that I play x-bow so I got a few people to go to and I play a lot of cc and iv improved a lot
How to get good
1: spend as much money as possible to max out every card
2: use all those maxed cards to make the new meta deck for every season
3: waste your whole life getting good at each new meta deck each season.
Tip1: Use the best card, the Credit Card

My biggest problem is being kingtower level 13, because YOU CANNOT 2-SHOT FRICKIN GOBLINS WITH KINGTOWER
I don t know what your pb is, but kt level 13 isn t that much of an issue i got to 7k with kt13, but I did have almost my whole deck max level
@@seancrowley6605 Well... I play Pekka Bridgespam, and don't have a log. My most matchups are people with logbait-decks or Hog-Cyclers. Both decks counter me, especially the logbait. I admit, that I am not the best player. I would change my deck, if I had higher level cards, but so far Pekka bridgespam is my only choice. It is a good deck, but gets countered by the most used decks, which is inconvenient. In short:
I suck.
My deck could be better.
Have only high level cards in this deck, so I will not change my choice soon.
@@freshimega tbh i understand wym but for lignait you can fireball if they zap or ewiz, i m not saying it s the best defences but they aren t bad. And hog can be hard so you really need to defend really well the first two minutes, if you llace ewiz on the hog you can only get 1 hitand pekka even if it is pretty expensive can get a good defense and counter push in. But like you do play pekka bs, don t forget to even when one tower has 1000 more damage to still attack it, you need to always put pressure on both sides
@@seancrowley6605 yeah, I know. Have watched a ton of tutorials how to defend against Hog Cycle with Pekkabridgespam. I have succeeded a little bit. Out of 9 games against a friend with Hog Cycle with 7k trophies, I have won 4. But that was around two months ago, and it was a friend so, doesn't matter. Thanks for the advice tho
@Nomal Bonbaso With the right predictions it can turn tables immediately. I really love this deck, and think it is pretty sad it is not that good in ladder. Especially against Balloon it got even worse because of the fireball nerf. I will change to a Goblin Drill or a Rocket Cycles deck. With rocket cycle, I was at least able to get ten wins in 20
wins challenge. I could have had 20 if I did not start so incredibly late.
Stick to concepts if you like cycle decks find one there's many variations of hog cycle. So focus on leveling (or royal) hog cycle cards usually always good regardless of meta with practice and have many good rare/common cards that can be switched around to account for meta shifts
This was just how to win more games: be better and play more

actual tips
1- ask your clan for cards so you can upgrade
2- do events
3- upgrade all of your cards for xp
4- try practicing your deck by battling against your clan
ps:clan wars are basically level 11 or above for cards

I think it's not that simple, because when we are stuck in midladder we don't get the chance to get better against meta decks cause we only play against mk and stuff, and challenges are not enough because we are too bad to get to the meta decks
Play safe decks
Honestly the safest bet is splashyard with valk instead of SK. Might take long to max but it is solid in every meta. I leveled 2.6 hog first since it has a great foundation of cards that are good in many other decks then branched into maxing other hog cycle variations

Get higher levels by doing mastery, being in a good clan and doing war every day, save gems for royal tournament bonus rewards when you get 12+ wins, etc. it’s not impossible to max a deck f2p

with all respect but that's not true, i had a player in my clan with a 7k trophy count, he used to play against me with decks that has 60-80% matchup in his favor, i'm more skilled than him, i casually beat his ass and won almost every single game againsts him. i play hog exe nado since it started as a lightning and knight deck, and it's maxed, but I'm in 6000-6400 and he is in 7k for literally one reason, every single matchup i get in ladder is this type of deck (electro gaint mirror graveyard with goblin barrel all in one deck) i get decks that are literally designed to counter the living hell out of me, i get fucking pekka hog goblin barrel balloon freeze in one deck against me and it's not one game or two games in a row, it's literally every matchup, the easiest matchup i get is like classic Bowler lumberloon freeze (also hard matchup) and somehow i still pull the w's on all of them
later the same guy told me that once he got his king tower to 14 and maxed like 40 cards, he noticed that the matchups are getting easier, and seeing that noob at 6800-7000 with his ass-wipe skills but maxed i trust that info
HogExeNado doesn't have a building; it's not a safe deck. Midladder is offensive in a toxic way, so you need godly defenses to get out of there

I don’t think so, unless you’re really good like Juicy or any pro player, because you’ll be facing a lot of Max lvl mega knights, hog riders, goblin barrels, etc., and you definitely need the same level to beat these cards (once again I’m assuming you’re not a crazy good player)
U can only reach so far on ladder without max level cards. Maxing out I tower is the least important thing in ur deck to max bc it will still get the job done at level 11 to some extent. The others not so much and also u should use guards instead of goblin gang they are much better right now

I absolutely despise the idea that you have to use a meta deck from a pro. Make your own deck, its so much more fun and all decks started out being created by someone. So many players get high in ladder by making their own decks.

Yeah, I think it would be a good idea to level a deck that has stood the test of time like 2.6, xbow cycle, icebow, logbait, etc instead of a meta deck. Plus there is always a meta version of these decks so it will be easy to replace a couple cards for a couple seasons to be in the meta
You just need to be careful not to max-out decks that have obviously OP cards that are likely to get nerfed, like Giant Skelly, Mirror, Archer Queen, Golden Knight and E-Giant
Meta decks overrated i just use my own and its working pretty good after being inactive for a while i ranked up like 4-5 arenas in less than 2 weeks
