I started to feel like I shouldn't be listening to this and then I remembered that I read about the Book of Jasher in the Bible. I think and believe that the Adversary didn't want me to delve into this book and yet, Almighty God was pleased with my desire to learn more about Him. I want to be a good student A.K.A. disciple of Lord Jesus Christ and Lord Jesus Christ is pleased with those who makes an extra effort to learn from Him and learn more about Him. 15 years ago I found this huge bible at a garage sale. I just now realized it has some of the missing books in it. I was meant to read these. It took me 15 years to be ready for them!!!!

I have the same problem, I have been reading and listening to this book, particular the 3rd for 3yrs now. II not read the scriptures now. I do believe these books are distractions. NONE of them are scripture. But it is very interesting and fills in blanks!!!

Does anyone else see the parallel with Judah the Son of Jacob and his grandson David centuries later?? Judah smote the most powerful warrior Jachub with a mere rock. He then strikes and kills another warrior with a rock.

I was told my whole life that the Apocrypha was evil and bad. Now that I am more mature in the Holy Spirit I do not find this to be true. There is much instruction and wisdom to be gained from these books. If we put Jesus first and his commandments first then we cannot be deceived
As long you know this isn't scripture. I think this fills in somethings for me I do need to pray on these books

They told me apocryphal books are not good but now that I am reading it with myself I found that these books are informative and the more I undrestand the bible, if I read the bible there are always questions and I don't know the answer now those questions were answered by these books, it is a revelation and I want to say " THANK YOU LORD "

This has been awesome, never knew the sons of Jacob were warriors. I always thought Jacob’s sons were jealous whiners for how they treated Joseph, not that Joseph didn’t have it coming and sure it was all Gods plan.
You will find that modern Christianity and TV has portrayed the men of God as soft beta males. The whole book is a is a patriarchal book. Most so-called preachers today won't even touch that truth .
Other nations in their writings saw them as a great warriors , even the Roman writings Express this .

I have been listening to Jasher on this cold rainy day. What an enrichment of Bible history! Jacob's simple shepherd boys---NOT. All three books so far have been intriguing, such amazing lives of these people from Adam to Joseph.
Kept me on the edge of my chair and I Will listen again.
I never thought these books were evil but just not inspired by Holy Spirit as cannon. But it tells more about the lives of men in the bible, more detail. Very interesting.

I LOVE this book because it gives so much info about Joseph. Joseph built the step pyramid and he was the engineer of the silos during the 7 years of plenty and filled them with grain and corn. Where did they get the corn ? They got it in America. Yes ...there is proof in the Grand Canyon that Joseph was there !!!

He has done this with me and is still doing this with me because of my stiff neck after 40 years. Now I am older it has been 40 years since I went into the woods for 4 months with the word of God and sought Christ and now finally God is completely causing me to surrender and enjoy it as I should have done all along but the enemy and the Wilds oh the devil tripped me up. But no more for the hour is late and I am older and have acquired wisdom and maturity for the glory of God and I will do all I can to please my master before he returns a lot sooner than most people think? Amen and amen glory be to such a merciful wonderful God that he called me he found me I did not find him nobody finds God because God finds you as he calls all but not all will answer. In his great foreknowledge he knows who will answer and therefore you are A Marked Man so that no matter how many times you fall he picks you back up dust you off and put you back on the rock for all to see and He and only He gets the glory. Just two days ago the Lord spoke through one of His prophets, that we must read and study the seven lost books that Satan had removed two hundred years ago. So many of you don’t know what you are talking about. The apocrypha was part of the Bible, men chose to remove it. The Bible that Jesus and the apostles used to evangelize the world was called the Septuagint. The Septuagint was a Greek translation of the Hebrew old testimony books that the rabbis allowed to be translated. They withheld approximately 70 books from translation saying that it wasn’t fit for the masses to know. The Septuagint was therefore the only accurately translated version of those scrolls which was then compiled into the first version referred to as the Bible. The Septuagint had all of the apocryphal books included so yes they are scripture. No man has the authority to declare what is true or not in Gods word. Jesus never once denounce the validity of those books and that version of the Bible that included those removed books is what Jesus and the apostles used to evangelize the world. If it was true enough for jesus and the apostles to use then it’s true enough for us. Seriously. Do some research. It’s all there in the history. Including when each rabbinic counsel decided to remove particular writings Jesus also directly referenced the book of jasher multiple times as a book of truth. He even referenced it to verify the sun standing still for 3 days.
Those denying the book of Enoch. Just know that God knows the beginning to the end and he knew what the book of Enoch says and he still said Enoch was the most righteous man that ever lived. Maybe you should use a little bit of logic and understand that the author of the story knows the truth of every character that’s contained within

I remember getting the new testament bible when I was in primary school from foreigners. It's when I started to read the bible I asked questions about what happened to the book of Jasher and what really happened to Enoch who was taken. Basically, we only got a small summary of information, the Ethiopian bible carries 84 books the king James version only has 66. It's what's being indoctrinated through generations.

I just love every single bit of this, especially chapter 45 verse 24 where Er, the son of Judah, OUTWARDLY DESTROYED HIS SEED instead of impregnating his wife Tamar. And God killed him for that!!! Genesis doesn't mentioned that, only about his brother Onan.
A lot of similarities, wow. Something's in these books are stories told in the Bible with other people.. like Abraham being put into a fire and surviving, ECT. Amazing 🤩 deeper insight, questions I wondered about

Although quite intriguing I can now see why the book of Jashar was removed from canon. The old Testament reads like a historical record while the Book of Jashar reads like a novel story book that leaves me questioning its authenticity.
