- The Hazard Mechanist is a celestial build with lots of synergy with bleeding and might generation which will buff nearby allies and your mech. This will show one set of gear so you can play this engineer build in all game modes of guild wars 2 with as little swapping as possible.

Great build as always Vallun! Can't wait to try it out. Seem to have a persistent clicking in the background from your keyboard or possibly a fan? Might have to mess with your mic sensitivity. Edit: seem to only hear it mostly in the first section until 3:33
I think that's the music he has playing in the background but it's so quiet that all you hear are those tings/clicks.

I use a ranged mech with a *lot* of damage and decent support while hitting like a truck... best defense is a good offense etc

Would you use the malign Infusions, suggested for PvE, in WvW as well, or possible change them up?

I'm new to this game, but does sigil of cleansing make sense when you cant swap weapons? ( or does switching back and forth from granades count?)
anything that changes the 1-5 skills counts as weapon swapping

Question: why in PvP the Firearms/Condi traits are not as viable?
theyre much lower numbers so they dont get as much value

@@BloodravenD I am enjoying it, thank you! Mesmer was the one I settled on as my first, but I had a much easier go at it with engineer since I'm alone 99℅ of the time.
@@Khujop Mesmer is very tough to solo with, at least core mesmer, the elite specs dallow for a lot more survivability. I usually recommend a Necromancer, Elementalist, Ranger, or Warrior, for someone who is just starting out, as they either have pets or they have a bit more survivability in their traits.
@@BloodravenD elementalist is never a good reccomend to someone new.
@@spider0804 I have to disagree, you can start with any class you like the theme of and learn to play it pretty quickly. It's not like elementalist is so hard that a new player couldn't learn it.

What to use without rune of leadership, whats an alternative

they dont change the build, they just make it a slight bit weaker

@@Kylebrown481 nope, power builds got nerfs and buffs so its kind of the same but the cele synergy is still there even with some condi nerfs
@@Kylebrown481 check hizen build with trailblazer and some rune magic. Isn't affected by the nerfs. Combine with a power build for trash and u win a little bit more at cost of a template.

Will Rune of Sanctuary works for this build for perma alacrity?
it only does that synergy if you have alchemy traits, and I would only use them in wvw and pvp, but in pvp the icd on the alacrity is 4 sec not 1 sec so in general it isnt worth
@@Vallun Why do you need alchemy traits? I run the same build as you and if you only swap leadership runes with sanctuary, u get perma alacrity. everything else is the same. Is 10% boon duration better than perma alacrity? Am I missing smthg? EDIT: Nevermind me... i just saw in the patchnotes the sanctuary rune got buffed lol.
@@AndreasCMusic yup they buffed that interaction, so you can get it without alchemy now, but you need a source of regeneration or the heal signet, which is very easy to get now. However, I still wouldn't run sanctuary because the boons you get from durability scale really well with shift signet giving them to your mech to keep it alive, sanctuary more selfish

@@AndreasCMusic run whatever you want, but with durability you already have plenty of alacrity and alacrity isn't really that valuable anyways, so i figure taking a rune just for that isnt worth
How viable is this in fractal ?
u can bring it as a boon dps providing alacrity just modifying the trait line and ensuring u have around 50% boon duration on the stats for full uptime (u can use food or swap some pieces on ur equipment to help u reach it)
It´s a cool spec, but I don´t think I´m ready to let my holo go. =)

How to recall mech under 41 sec ?
Sadly it was heavily nerfed. I used to have fun with the sustain and the condis that used to apply, now it is not the same. So 😢.
Any source of swiftness?
the signet is a passive movement speed increase
@@Vallun yhea I meant, it's 25% instead of 33% isn't it?
@@pandaemonaeonaeon signet trait increases the effectiveness of signets so its basically the same speed as swiftness

because i assume that even if the build is nerfed, it will only be weaker, not different, but also because i lack content if i dont do something and the algorithm will manhandle me :)
Mech is pretty meh in pvp atm, not sure you can reach higher than plat1 with this
Maybe not this build. But the FT condi mech build is very strong, 1v1 and group.

Maybe I'm in the minority on this, but I don't find it Interesting that celestial has now become the standard for everyone except warrior.
It's really a pervasive problem in WvW now, but I don't know how you go about fixing it without completely gutting it.
Basically remove celestial altogether.
@@maozhong88 That's the route they took in conquest and, while I was against it at first, I can see why they did it.
The stat set just caused too many problems to try and balance around.
Celestial isn't the standard for everyone, just that a lot of the new specs can utilize hybrid builds, as well as generating boons, so it's a viable choice.

Lol celestial? And your using a conditional damage setup with skills and utilities. Being an engineer veteran, you should know if your running conditions, use vipers....
Viper for groups / solo PvE - easy content - Celestial - Trailblazer for solo hard PvE content
you're not even saying what weapons you're using for pvp.... bad explanation
i say in the equipment section what weapons im using in all game modes :)
