A COVER LETTER is a letter that is addressed to the embassy where your planning to apply for a Schengen Visa. It's your best chance to convince the consul to put a visa sticker on your passport. Imagine your cover letter is like your interview, the only difference is that you will not be around to present to them your answer, but your cover letter speaks on your behalf.
Even it's not listed on the embassy requirements list, you need to make a cover letter especially now there is a lot of Embassies that used VFS services to collect documents. Write your cover letter as a way of communicating with the embassy officer that will be reviewing your visa application. Make sure to also write your cover letter according to your travel purposes.
WHAT SHOULD A COVER LETTER CONTAIN?
*Introduce your self by writing complete information about yourself.
*Tell them the purpose of your trip.
*Should contain what visa category you would like to apply, How many days you wanted a visa, and Why you're applying to their embassy.
*Proof of how you will fund your trip, you need to mention if you're going to shoulder all your travel expenses or if you have a Sponsor who is willing to shoulder all your travel expenses. If there is a sponsor, make sure to mention the sponsor's full details, your relationship with the sponsor and how is your sponsor going to fund you.
*Write in your cover letter information on where you are going to stay during the duration of your trip. If your a tourist and will be staying at a hotel, you can write in your cover letter the 1st hotel that you will be staying and the rest let them know that you have it on the attached travel itinerary. If you will be staying at a house of a friend, family member, or partner, write the complete address and name of the person that will provide you accommodation and make sure that you have an invitation letter from them.
*If there are any required documents that you're unable to submit, you can explain to your cover letter why you don't have that.
*Write an ASSURANCE in your cover letter that you will come back to your home country after your visa expires and that you will not overstay in Schengen countries. You can tell them any rootedness you have in your home county.
*Don't forget to write in your cover letter a LIST of all the supporting documents that you attached in your application.
*If you employed write information about your job, where your work, and how much your salary is. If you have your own business, write more information about it, the business name, location, and how is it doing. This will give the embassy office a picture of how you're doing when it comes to finances. This is also a way to tell them that you are capable enough to support your travel expenses.

*Scanned copy of the Passport.
*Resident ID copy ( if his from the Schengen area)
**Proof of financial funds,6 months bank statements and work contract, and last 3 months payslips.
-Recent proof of income of the sponsor
*Proof of home / flat ownership or rental contract that shows the address. (if sa place nya ikaw mag stay)
*Formal Obligation legalized by their municipality where the sponsor is registered.
* a photocopy of the biodata page of the passport and travel history of the sponsor (entry stamps).
*proof of relationship-- pictures together

Yung sakin ng pasa kmi ng 2accounts na bank statement current and savings account just to prove na may enough na funds to take care of my needs habang nandoon ako pero ayaw tanggapin sa vfs yung isa kaya napilitan kaming itransfer lahat ng money sa current. Ok lang kaya yun? Di kaya maquestion yun?

Yes mag ka iba po yan... cover letter is your letter to the embassy to help convince them to give you a visa... no objection letter is a letter coming from your employer or university letting the embassy know that they allow you to have vacation and they don't object on your visa application
@@jastravel Thank you! I submitted my application with the cover letter and letter from my university. I didn't know I had to submit one until I watched your video. Although, the lady at the VAC didn't request for it, she didn't object to submitting it either. Thank you 🥰🤗
The only thing that was a bit annoying was that they wanted only one copy of each document. I had made two copies of each before going to the VAC🤦🏾♀️😅

Requirements
You have a valid passport or other travel document. Your passport or travel document must not have been issued more than 10 years ago. The passport or other travel document must also be valid for at least 3 months after departure from the Netherlands.
You are not a threat to public order or national security. Or for the international relations of a Schengen country.
You have (medical) travel insurance that has been taken out in your name. This is not mandatory if you do not need a visa. Your sponsor (sponsor) may also take out the insurance for you in the Netherlands. The insurance covers at least €30,000 for medical costs in the Schengen area. The insurance covers at least the following costs:
Costs for returning to the country of origin for medical reasons. The country of origin is the country of which you have the nationality.
Urgent medical care.
Emergency treatment in hospital.
You have sufficient reasons to return to your country of origin or country of permanent residence. For example because you work there, have (school-aged) children or own a house. A return ticket alone is not enough. The country of permanent residence is the country where you are allowed to stay for longer than 3 months. Because you have a valid residence permit there or are waiting for a decision on a residence application.

you should photocopy all the original documents para yung photocopy kunin nila, kasi pag wala, yung original kukunin nila and wala ng balikan yan.

Most embassy use Vfs , so you can’t go directly to the embassy. VFS collect documents on behalf of the embassy, it’s them submitting to the embassy

90 days walang labasan sa Bahay ni sponsor?? hindi maniniwala ang embassy sayo... pupunta ka sa europe para lang mag stay sa loob ng bahay? walang pasyal?? well pwede naman yan gawin mo if gusto nyo mag kulong talaga sa bahay, ... pero ipakita mo nalang kunwari na may plan kayo puntahan at gawin... para naman makita ng embassy na gustong gusto mo mag europe...once you get approved your free to do what you want " Stay inside the house"
