A Schengen Visa cover letter is a powerful document that gives the consul an idea of what your reason is to travel to the Schengen Area. The document also helps you explain why some documents are missing.

Yes, it can still be under business visa. Make sure to also tick off tourism as your purpose.

You'll bring the cover letter together with your other documents during your appointment for the biometric at VFS.

You can include your allowances and incentives if they are reflected in your payslips. If they aren't there, you can explain in your cover letter that aside from your basic pay, you are also receiving allowances and incentives.
Also, if both are reflected on your work contract, you can submit that document as well.

Is the sponsor outside of the Schengen Area?
If in the affirmative, then yes.
If the sponsor is in the Schengen Area, you'll have to apply where s/he is a resident

Yes, hotel reservations are must. Some embassies would also like to know the transportation you'll use in between the Schengen States so you can include that in your itinerary as well.

Hi Ransh!
If you will be sponsored, you need to have your sponsor's financial statements attached as well as your personal financial statements even if it isn't much.
This would give the embassy an idea that you have some amount of your own and hindi ka solely reliant on the sponsor.
Also do make sure that you and your sponsor's liquid asset (readily available cash or credit) in the financial statements would be enough to cover your entire stay.

Hi! Each application is assessed individually.
1. Yes. You each need a cover letter.
2. Each of you should have a set of supporting documents.
3. Typically, the VFS employee would assess your documents together. But if there will be a lot of applicants on the same day, they may ask one of you to wait while they assess one paper.

State your reasons why you'll return to the Philippines after your trip.
For Finland, even if you're fully-sponsored, you must have more than enough money to support your stay.

It's not a requirement for the Schengen Visa itself. However, it's a good addition, as a cover letter let's you explain why you would like to apply for a Schengen Visa especially if there is no visa interview.

2. who's going to sponsor your trip
3. when are you expected to return to your classes

will you have finished your studies before your plan to visit Greece?
If yes,it might affect your chances of getting approved as you won't have proof to return to Cyrus.
If no, use your studies/classes as proof that you'll be returning to Cyprus after your trip to Greece.

Single entry means you can travel to the Schengen States (26 countries) from the outside only once, if you go out of the Schengen Area and travel to Bulgaria (non-Schengen country) you'll not be allowed entry.
Multiple Entry means you can go in and out of the Schengen Area multiple times

When traveling with a friend and family member, personally, I make sure to add their full name and passport number in my cover letter and make sure that my itinerary suits both of us.
For example, not including the Heineken experience in the Netherlands when I'm traveling with a child.
For your friend, she has to write in her cover letter that she'll be sponsored by her husband and she's traveling with you. Meanwhile, her husband has to write that he'll sponsor her (your friend) and submit his financial documents.

Better po if each of you will have your own cover letter since you will be individually assessed.
Since you'll be traveling together, you must state in your cover letter that you'll be traveling with your spouse.

For work permit, from my understanding yung employer ang magprocess ng permit mo, then magbibigay ng endorsement ang labor and migration office sa embassy so you can apply for a visa D. Basically, look for an employer first, visa application will follow.

Kapag nagsubmit ka ng application via VFS, walang interview. Kinukuha lang nila yung documents mo and sometimes nag-ask na din about your visit.
There are cases, lalo na if first time applicant, na tumatawag yung consul officer about sa documents na s-in-ubmit mo for clarification (This is true for Germany).
There are also cases, like for Poland, that they call in the applicant for an interview, but mostly for visit visa yun.

Ang embassy pa rin ang mag-process ng visa, not VFS. So all letters should be addressed to the embassy

Nope, not unless you've already had a Schengen visa before. The biometrics for a Canadian Study Visa is entirely different from the biometrics for a Schengen Visa
