One of my favorite fights in the game. Both in remake and in rebirth actually. I just love how unique this fight works. How it is Rufus that controls the battle and you basically have to learn where the openings are. I know alot of people absolutely hate Rufus. But I just love this boss fight.
When I decided to go for story bosses no damage I already had Rufus on the list. I asked another amazing player ‪@cloudcs‬ who he thought the hardest story fight was to no damage with Cloud and he said Rufus. That did kinda scare me but he was actually easier than I thought, even tough he was very tough. Toughest story boss so far. Not tougher than Yuffie vs Bahamut tho.

@@xEDITS agreed! and I love that the fights against him becomes a solo battle in both games! (not including his dog of course haha). Just feels like an true 1 on 1 dual Samurai between them , epic! I play a lot of dmc, so it gives me dante vs vergil vibes 😅
