Most people think that Grammar or vocabulary is the reason for not improving English. In my experience, these are not reasons for not improving your English. The reasons are by far Psychological and not the technical.
Our FEAR of making mistakes is the most important reason why we do not improve English. The FEAR comes from the obsession of PERFECTION. We all want to do everything in a perfect way. However, perfection is an illusion. It is a trap which most of us fall in.
If you want to improve your English and speak confidently, then you must forget perfection and start speaking as good as you can. This will help you to ease and speak naturally without any pressure.
So please go and make lots of mistakes and then gradually your mistakes will cease and you will improve.

This is amazing video. Three important lessons I have learned from video are ----
1. Perfection is false term, specially in English speaking.
2. Barrier is fear from committing grammatical mistakes while speaking and
3. Barrier is lack of confidence
All can be improved by just taking a single step of speaking....just start speaking.
Seriously, you said in this video. We want to be perfect in starting of any work. Which is wrong . We will be perfect day by day. One day we will become a fluenter.

Today I had an interview for a job in English, when I had the interview I had been more confident that I would pass it, but the problem was that I inspired myself if I have perfect speaking I will go through it, I was trying to be perfect to the interview to impress them how good I am, but when the interview started I began telling about myself hesitantly and also got nervous, in that time I lost myself and couldn't speak clearly, I understood that in reality I was afraid of failure and make grammar mistakes, thanks to your video I realized it wasn't about my English it was about my psychologically and uncertainty

Well said sir, existence of perfect is an illusion. I can write and understand English but I cannot talk or express myself when I am with someone who is speaking in English. Now I get a clue for my fluency. first I have to leave out my fear and should make my confidence level. Hope it will better soon.
Yes sir you are right, i want to share my story with all of u, 4 years back i moved to Europe after my marriage i was just 18 years old my English was not good and am from normal school,i was pregnant and there were many dr’s who wanted to talk to me and wants to know about my condition i was not able to tell them I hadn’t confidence 1st tym my husband went with me he told everything to dr and after that meeting he insulted me alot n said u can’t speak English u have long tongue but can’t tell anything infront of dr that thing really disappointed me ,well! He knew i was studying n left my study because i got married n i cried alot that day then after 1 month i met with a dr who said u are very educated and you speak very well at that day i got little confidence ,but i havebeen going through same problem “confidence” i can speak English with anyone but not infront of my husband I thought he will criticize me n always i prefer to go alone anywhere without my husband and n I thought in his presence I can’t talk with anyone 😊

Lack in confidence and i always think whether somebody laugh at me while i make mistakes but now, by hearing your words i got the confidence to speak in front of the people. I can relate this with myself and I feel everybody else might have experienced that perfection hurdle at some point of life, without which we could have done better..that kind of feeling..So a key takeaway from this video-When you Focus on Expressing your Thoughts,Feelings rather than focussing on vocabulary, grammar...Words will automatically flow from your mouth without much hurdle...
