- The harvest moon shone bright in the Hollywood sky, illuminating the shattered dreams and stained casting couches below. I was back from tour and more tired than the plot of Morbius. As I settled in for a solitary evening of Netflicking and Green-Cheffing, I took a few too many puffs of the 'ol Green Unicorn Kush. As my mind raced and the synapses in my brain accelerated to the point of near-insanity, I retired to the safety of my bedroom, with only my iPhone in hand. As luck would have it, whilst researching monkey pox, my sausage fingers mistakenly typed in "Monkey Tok", whereby I was transported to a magical world of pet monkeys consuming grapes, bananas, and even watermelon. I was bathed in a level of cuteness that would make a teddy bear implode in a symphony of blood-soaked sweetness. 'Tis the world of Monkey TikTok, my friends, and it is a miracle salve for the many wounds that ail us.

I'm so encouraged by these replies haha I'm 24 in the UK and don't drive but I feel the pressure. Makes me feel a bit better now. I like public transport, my city has great links, and I just don't have the money for a car, but still I feel like I somehow should.

My friend was the first collapsed girl at the Montreal gig. She fainted due to a lack of oxygen it seems, her breathing was off. She's ok tho, everyone around us was super helpful and attentive. And Kween Tracy Martell MVP bless her heart.
She was so professional. I was in the front row and you could tell she kept calm and was just thinking quick. I'm glad your friend got the medical attention she needed.
I'm glad your friend is okay sorry about people's assumptions that she must've been on drugs, lack of oxygen, heat stroke so many things could cause a fainting spell and it's shitty people assume cause someone else might be on drugs and collapsed doesn't mean the other girl was too. I'm glad she's okay and y'all seem to have a good attitude about it, at least people helped I'm sure that was a big reason she's okay.

I wish I could remember which unhhh episode it was where trixie asked "why do you always say that monkeys eat faces?" And katya said something like "because I have a strong connection to the truth" lmaooo
just wanna really quick praise trixie for doing EXACTLY the correct thing when noticing something out of the ordinary at her live show and stopping it in front of 12,000 paying people. because clearly not every artist is privy to this concept and those that do it should be recognized for doing so.

@@ferisera I was literally cutting my 5mg gummies into 1/4s at one point 💀now I can take a single 2.5mg (with 1:1 CBD or higher) but if I'm taking it that's a wrap on the evenings activities outside of a movie and bed.

I worked event medical for 7 years-- only once did a band stop playing so I could speak on my radio to request a gurney for a seizure patient that was passed up to the front 6ft between the stage and the crowd (you know, where the SPEAKERS are and you can't hear yourself think). The band was Story of the Year during the Self Help Fest and I'll be forever grateful because it was my first large event as a mobile team lead, and I was PANICKING trying to figure out what to do as hundreds of people were watching me get more and more flustered not being able to communicate that I needed assistance. The lead singer absolutely saw me jumping up and down trying to get the attention of my partner who wasn't that far away, but I couldn't leave my patient, and my partner also couldn't hear his radio. He stopped the music immediately and told the crowd, "Hey everyone sit tight for just a moment the medics are helping someone and they need to be able to work- I know you all understand!" As soon as the music stopped, I could request more staff to my location, and within 2min he said, "Hey the gurney is coming from stage left! Yeah guys, (pointing towards the other medics) they're right here in front of me. Just let me know when we're good to continue playing!" Once the other team was there, we were packed up and out of there within seconds I gave the band the thumbs up as soon as I gave Main Medical our ETA and rushing out of there. As we rushed by the crowd he yelled, "Give it up for the people keeping us all safe and healthy out here today!! Yeahhh!!" And he went right back into jamming as the crowd cheered and clapped. I want to be narcissistic and pretend the clapping was for our medical team, but I know it's because the music came back on. Honestly though, it was a great event with really nice fans that would thank us randomly anyways, even if we weren't doing anything except enjoying a show we get paid to see :)
Thank you for sharing your story, @Margaux. Only *one* band stopped. Wow. I can get "the show must go on" and that the person in distress is greatly outnumbered. But stopping and having the performer help massively speeds up helping the person. Response time is everything.
That Trixie was shitting bricks beforehand and her *immediately* thinks, "What if they can't hear?" Makes me Team Trixie for life.

I was at this Montreal show, to see Trixie for my first time, and I'm super shocked to hear on this podcast how nervous Trixie was before going on, to the point of wanting to run away, because her show was incredible! It was fun, she flowed so smoothly between singing and comedy, people loved it, and SO many people knew the words to the songs. Even the parts that didn't go according to plan, Trixie improvised so quickly and seemed so natural on stage. And it was impressive to see Trixie so attentive to the needs of the audience when the two people needed medical care. Trust me when I say Trixie that from the audience's point of view, you did amaaaaazing! 👏🥰
I swear the commercials are getting longer, but these icons provide us this podcast free so I will take it (also tried Green Chef because of Trixie and it changed my life).

Please be careful with weed!!! When you start having these symptoms, please take a break from weed and let your mind recover.
I had a weed induce psychosis after years of smoking weed on and off. Luckily I was able to keep myself together when it happened. I highly recommend buying strains of weed with lower THC and HIGHER CBD to lower the chances of having a épisode.
When the weed is too fierce too often, it’s time to take a mental break.
@@poetryflow8413 this is a great point that I think a lot of people don't acknowledge, given the demonisation of weed over the last few decades that's only really shifting now. I guess they want to be like NO ITS ALWAYS SAFE TOTALLY FINE when in reality, yeah you're not exactly going to overdose and die in the way we'd normally think of with substances, but cannabis and cannabinoid induced psychosis can happen if you're not careful. Knowing things like your genetic predispositions is also helpful before you try any mind altering substance, really. I have a friend who's had schizophrenia run in her family, so she's not touching anything just to be safe. I know a guy who was diagnosed bipolar, unaware that it was a genetic predisposition with family members also having it, after he had a psychotic episode from smoking too much. Make informed choices and take care out there, folks!
