    old school. great to learn how it works. Thanks! Shops probably wont change just the bearing anymore. Now it's all kits and assembly.

    Need assistance sir ..how to remove or replace inner bearing(inside cylinder head housing)..means clutch shaft bearing

      Truthfully, if it's bad, you're prob ahead to just replace the compressor. Before it fails, and trashes the system. Also, replace the drier bag, inside of the accumulator, if the system is going to be open, anyway. Thanks for watching

      I just ordered a bearing from parts store, for year, and type of compressor.

      i think just dismantle yours and take measurements using vernier caliper.

    I would have popped the seal and repacked the bearing

    you didnt need to stake it its very snugged that you will have to press it out to remove it ..

      Yes, it needs to be staked. Not staking it, is not an option.
