This song is exactly the worst emotional pain I have ever felt in my life. I use to brake down sobbing to this on repeat. It sucks big time when you have deep feelings for someone who has deep feelings for you too, but you could never have a relationship because it would never work. In another lifetime the relationship would be perfect, but in this reality you just can't and you have to say goodbye and walk away. Then you have to see each other at work. Even though we both know we are over it as much as we will ever be, it still makes my heart hurt when I listen to the emotions in these words. And trying friends with benefits does not work. Only makes the situation worse. Like trying to squeeze water from a stone. Just glad I have had a great relationship with another man.
