Cillian can express himself so well. I absolutely love listening to him. He doesn't repeat the same things over and over again. He is engaging and it's so easy to listen to him and keeps you interested in what is he saying. I mean he should really do some to interviews for the show. Graham Norton or Chatty Man or something. I don't understand why he doesn't. I think he would be brilliant. He is brilliant. I always liked Cillian but this role is probably his best one and l will probably go back and watch some older movies. I definitely admire this guy and hope to see many of his projects.
He is a very private guy. Contrary to his character. He is not a fan of giving grand speeches and interviews or being asked about his life or oversharing anything. He even stopped taking pictures with fans and now only feels comfortable giving autographs . I think he might have a bit of imposter syndrome, l get the feeling that sometimes he doesn’t realize how great he really is and how endearing he comes across. He’s such a lovely man from what l’ve seen. And good on him for being so fiercely protective of his family and his private life !

I don't know if it's a cultural thing. But I think you may get more out of your interviews if you affirm and interact with your guests more between questions. It can feel a bit like you don't really care, but are rather trying to just move on to the next question. Just my humble opinion.

I just finished season 3 and omg it does not disappoint!!! It just keeps getting better! Cillian has so many challenges and watching him tackle them all gave me a new respect for him-and I truly thought my respect couldn't be more!! He's so much more than a gorgeous actor!!! I am American and I can totally agree about his opinion of the gangster film not being American based as very refreshing because if it was I probably would not have looked at it because it has been so overdone since The Godfather ..The gang families did exist in England also and I think that this is why the series has taken off in popularity because it shows the realism of the old flats,the architecture and the bars and pubs and streets and the piles of coal to be used for heating and the realism of what the people were like then ..It just gives the true vibe of what it was like in Birmingham and not just being about London but being tough and the industrial town life as not being too kind ..
That was a terrible interviewer. Cillian, a notoriously reluctant interviewee, gave him so many avenues to have an engaging conversation and he squandered them all with one dry, staccato question after another.
