Seeing the T.Dweeb shirt laying there without a T.Dweeb in it reminds me that one day he will ascend to a higher plane, leaving the rest of us to wander the earth with our Miyoo Minis held at arms length and pleading, "Hidden gems? Hidden gems?"
This is my Top 10 most played: 1. Team Fortress 2 - This is no surprise. I bought the Orange Box back in the day not to play Half-Life 2, but to get beta access for this game. I love shooters, and especially team based objective shooters, and I have sunk an ungodly amount of my life into this one. I don’t play as much anymore, I kind of got burned out on it and there have been issues with bots, but I still get the itch once in a blue moon and hop back in for a few rounds. 2. Grand Theft Auto 5 - As you said in your video, it’s amazing even to just hop in and drive around. This is the only GTA game where I’ve beaten the story and it was the one that sucked me in the most. 3. American Truck Simulator - Speaking of just driving around, this game is an absolute vibe for that. I appreciate that it has a lot of settings that let you make things as casual or as complicated as you want. 4. Fall Guys - Honestly an absolute blast of a multiplayer platformer. I eventually got burnt out on this one due to the painfully slow drip of new levels, but before that it had me hooked. 5. Balatro - This one is no surprise, so popular they use it to advertise the Steam Deck. I love video poker and this is basically just that plus a deckbuilding roguelike. 6. Dicey Dungeons - This is a weird little indie game that involves using rolled dice to get though dungeon levels. Your character has abilities you can use to launch attacks with the dice and modify their values. The music and art style on this one is impeccable. 7. Elite Dangerous - This game is like the American Truck Simulator of spaceship games. There's combat, but you don't have to focus on it and can literally just be a space trader or whatever you want really. With a good set of headphones and a big monitor in a dark room (or a VR headset) the sound and visual design transports you to another world. 8. Torchlight - This game is effectively "What if Diablo was an indie game with brighter graphics?" It's very simple, much like the original Diablo, so if you feel like the later games are doing too much this is an easy recommendation. 9. The Void Rains Upon Her Heart - This one is a bullet hell shooter where you're an alien girl trying to fight monsters with the power of love. Sounds weird, but it's a really endearing story. The difficulty is a very smooth ramp-up, unlike most games in this genre, and there's tons to unlock and do. 10. Fire Pro Wrestling World - This one is pretty obscure, it's a 2d pro wrestling game that uses a timing-based system for grappling, where you have to play deliberately and methodically instead of mashing buttons. It's very hard in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it the gameplay is genuinely thrilling.
That Lego Jurassic World segment was so dang wholesome! So glad I found your channel, Dweeb. Loving all the new content; I especially look forward to your Hidden Gems videos!
I liked hearing about the games you've shared with family members. I always appreciate it when I can find a way to share a gaming experience with my mother! Thanks for the video Tech Dweeb
Far and away, Torchlight 1 and 2 are my most played Steam games. I get sucked into the gameplay loop and the games are like an IV drip of serotonin. All the elements blend so perfectly that IMHO the games are a master class in game design and balancing.
RD2 was my Assassin's Creed game. We were locked down during COVID at my in-laws house, which amounted to four adults and three kids (one a newborn) with two bathrooms, plus two dogs... not the worst in the world, but still a squeeze nonetheless. Anyway, I started buying and rebuilding PCs from the garage during the day and riding horses and hunting cougars during the night. I too cried a bit when I finally finished the Arthur's "final quest". I can't remember how many nights I spent just playing poker at the campsite. I lost a lot of fur money that way. ;D
I love me some Kerbal. I watched so much Scott Manley back when he was doing playthroughs. My Top 10 played games are 1. Destiny 2 - 2064.4 hours 2.Terraria - 1129.2 hours + 184.4 hours in tModLoader which is just modded Terraria. 3. Rust - 845.2 hours 4. Path of Exile - 486.9 hours 5. Fallout 4 - 409.4 hours 6. GTA V - 368.7 hours 7. PUBG - 349.5 hours 8. Rimworld - 326.8 hours 9. 7 Days to Die - 323.6 hours 10. CoD:BLOPS II - 292.7 hours
Mines are apparently Counter-Strike: Source (used to play the frick out of it as a teen, just doing random stuff like surfing and bhop maps), Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Dark Souls III (souls fan detected), Fall Guys (fun as frick), Binding of Isaac, Trails of Cold Steel III (absolutely stellar series, if you love JRPG you have to try the Kiseki series), Killing Floor 2 (fun braindead zombie shooter), GTA IV , Risk of Rain 2 and Persona 5 Royal :) I probably have other games that I played elsewhere though like Persona 3 Reload with Gamepass. Special mentions for CrossCode, Bug Fables, OlliOlli World and A Short Hike which are my fav small / indie games :)) Thanks for sharing yours Dweebman !
I'm 49 and I know I'll never play, read, watch, or listen to 99.8% of the games, books, shows/films, or music I would like to experience. Just remember there are really only two things you love in this world: dopamine and serotonin. It's all the same chemicals. Don't worry so much about how you're getting them.
Your list is close to mine with a big exception: almost 2000 hours in Valheim, which is still in early access. Just love the building. You gotta try it if you haven’t yet.
Anything Fallout, Evil Genius, BioShock Infinite, SouthPark, are my longest hours games and I have a 300+ game library. Someday I'll retire and play them all. Get this man to 100k subs already!
Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3, BattleTech, Fallout New Vegas, Duke Nukem 3D, Borderlands 2, and .Hack GU. Are the ones I play or have played. I have over 100 games in my library. One day I will get to them...
My Steam Top 10 (I play a lot of my games on PS5/Switch though so this feels like a very incomplete list of what games I've played overall.) 1. 572 Hours - Automobilista (Sim-Racing) 2. 329 Hours - Cyberpunk 2077 3. 261 Hours - The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC 4. 249 Hours - Red Dead Redemption 2 5. 231 Hours - RaceRoom Racing Experience (Sim-Racing) 6. 221 Hours - Assetto Corsa (Sim-Racing) 7. 204 Hours - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 8. 173 Hours - The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 9. 149 Hours - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 10. 127 Hours - Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition
Sniper Elite 4, Elite Dangerous, Sniper Elite 5, No Man’s Sky, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dead Before Daylight, GTA V, Total War Rome 2, Total War Attila, World War Z …these are my top 10 PC games 👍🏻
Love your videos and btw what is that tabletop love the style. Couldn't really get into a game for a long long time (new ones) however once I've tried Elden Ring explored every single stem of grass, flipped every stone did like 400 hours and was genuinely excited to turn the game on, which hasn't happened for years.
I know I'm late to the video. But man I'm not a big fan of Steam. I don't like launchers cramming my startup, plus drm, so GOG is my go-to place for games. Only using Steam for valve games like HL and CS. But with that said, my most played game of all time is Batman Arkham Asylum with over 1200 hours, one console. Minecraft having over 17k hours on multiple platforms. My dad, who was 78, had 600 hours on Skyrim and over 1k on City Builder. Glad he was able to enjoy the rest of his life immersed in fantasy.
Around 2100 games isn't too bad. I'm 53 and I can't imagine I'll live long enough to play anything near to my 4,621 steam games. Never mind the ~680-ish GOG games and almost 500 on Epic. My top played steam games are Cookie Clicker (mistakes were made), Marvel Heroes Online (rip), Fallout 4, Saints Row the Third, Xcom 2, Starfield, Two Points Hospital, Fallout Shelter, Fallout 76, and Team fortress 2.
My most played game is AI War 2 with 985 hours on steam. I don't always play online so it could be even more hours. AI War 2 has to be one of the most updated games ever on steam with a ton of updates.
That damned centaur made me want to punch my TV screen even back in the 70s when I first saw it. edit: Must be nice to have enough of a life that ~800 hours is your most-played game(s). :P 4134.3 hours in Skyrim and another 783.7 hours for the Special/Anniversary Edition, according to Steam. But maybe knock them down to a combined 3500 hours to account for alt-tab time. :) [2900 or so for both versions of The Binding of Isaac, New Vegas clocks in around 1800 hours, Oblivion at 1600, 1500 for Borderlands 1 & 2, and about 1000 hours for Dungeons of Dredmor, a Roguelite from 2011 that is obviously the only obscure one on the list :]
I have a big backlog and I just keep playing OG Resident Evil 4 professional, Halo CE Legendary or a BO3 cod zombies. I will beat Final Fantasy 9 someday.
Love Black Flag. Played it twice. My all time fav is Heroes of Might and Magic 3 with the Horn of the Abyss mod. Still playing this game since it was released in 2002. Thousands of hours for sure. Buy DRM free version from GOG, not Steam.
Oxygen Not Included RimWorld Warframe Path of Exile Cities Skyline Darkest Dungeon (strangely... i haven't played it much really, i guess i have left it running while I'm working in the garden or something) Skyrim (i have played this a lot more, but offline, could easily be at second or third place in reality) Don't Starve (this could easily be 2 places above, because i have played it offline a lot) Crusader Kings 2 (again, haven't played it that much honestly, feels like i have left it on pause one or two times) X-Com Enemy Unknown those are the top 10, but i have a lot of games outside Steam, mainly on GoG, like Stardew Valley, Banished, Grim Dawn, Pillars of Eternity, and Starsector that is "standalone" (bought directly) that could have more hours than the ones above. Starsector definitely beats at least 5 of those.
What platform did U play all these hours on? I'm planning to get myself a gaming computer and still cant decide between beefy/mini/laptop... I play my steam games on steamdeck so far
Good morning TD! I hope your cousin got a bit of nostalgia for Lego Jurasic World there 😃. I've got Hades at 379 hours (my wife and I both have game saves though), ChronoTrigger at 255 hours (mostly my kiddo's), Borderlands 3 at 245 hours, and Peggle Deluxe at 238 hours (those last two are all me).
Not Steam, but I have 1600 hours on Factions, The Last of Us multiplayer. I have to force myself to uninstall the game from time to time, otherwise I wouldn't play any other games.
Oh sure, reference an old Hercules cartoon, but miss the obvious Ren & Stimpy clip when helping your mom with her horse: czcams.com/video/haZcvYOiqtg/video.htmlsi=IRIbV2oML2IuGJ-G&t=37
Other than efootball and PES games, my most played games are: 1-Fallout: New Vegas = 295.1 hours 2-The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition = 178.1 hours 3-Duck Game = 147.9 hours 4-Fallout 4 = 124.8 hours 5-Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition = 114.2 hours
Always and I mean ALWAYS save your Moms horses🥹🥰 I'd love to sit there with her and discuss which horses looks nice and watch her just having fun going out for a ride and stuff. So peaceful.❤️ (Of course I'd shoot the bad guys attacking her and save her horse). Also its amazing that we can play awesome old games like Skyrim,Fallout,Lego Series etc. on high settings and it runs so fine. Even on the Oled Steam Deck(?) One of my favorites is Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Awesome video. Thanks TD🫶🏼

The shirt will find another. I'm not the first TechDweeb and I'm not the last.
@@TechDweeb They say the first T.Dweeb appeared in cave paintings where he posted reviews of fire and fire-related wood.

Crusader Kings is great. I usually just describe it as a medieval breeding simulator.
I love me some Kerbal. I watched so much Scott Manley back when he was doing playthroughs.

I thought of the 90s Kevin Sorbo Hercules. Iolaus called him Herc in the show
The Mighty Hercules is so underrated .
Dweeb, hello, it's caf that you and your mom enjoy a game together , sweet video , my girl is a adventure time junkie also)
Thanks buddy!
"herk" = the sound the Hulk makes when Wolverine stabs him in the brain.

I ALWAYS think of that Hercules cartoon whenever I heard “Herk”. I also can’t stop saying “Herc! Herc!” just like that little centaur boy, Newton.
Damn tech dweeb is about that life. Great list

Well said
I love all of the Tomb Raider games
Just got AC black flag on switch in the sales as I loved playing it first time round, sailing around, singing shanties
Your list is close to mine with a big exception: almost 2000 hours in Valheim, which is still in early access. Just love the building. You gotta try it if you haven’t yet.
Wow started following you at end of April and you are on 90k subscribers, congrats! Great channel
Hey, the Humble bundle today is pretty awesome.
if you like beat em ups id love to see you do a video for Urban lockdown on Steam next ! :)

Great list of games and mini pcs are pretty great for pc gaming now if you dont mind making some comprises.
Great vid as always T.D. 👌👍 what was the control pad you shown at start? Looks decent. Till the next time your royal Dweebness!! 😎
That's the Steam Controller!
@TechDweeb I spotted the link you kindly dweebed.. I'm gonna order one, so thanks T.D. 😎👍

Came for the video, stayed for that outro theme 🕺🕺🕺

I don't really have a sweater that my mom keeps threatening to throw out.... it's, it's a sock.
Something tells me you like to explore alot of places.. while being in the house all the time

The curse of being an adult: you’ll have all the games you could ever want but no time to play them ☹️
5:00 I'm more of an objective bass gamer so it's extremely hard for me to ever feel like this
Can you please review the Kinhank
K36 and give it a nifty nickname of it’s own?

Darkest Dungeon (strangely... i haven't played it much really, i guess i have left it running while I'm working in the garden or something)

Don't Starve (this could easily be 2 places above, because i have played it offline a lot)

mine's easy: RE1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 still waiting for 9 and 10 :D
Satisfactory. It's about to leave early access and I already have 2680 hours in it.
Mine is Arma 3, almost 3k hours... love that game.
I finished cyberpunk 100% in 86 hours what are you doing man 😭
I didn't notice I had more than 20 hours of Hades 2.

The mini pcdizzle
Behold, a man who has never played Monster Hunter.
I played Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii for over 200h. I just haven't had the bandwidth to get into them on PC. :.(
What's your fav games to play on the steamdeck?❤
That sounds like a fun vid!
Who didn’t love that cartoon when a kid?
I have a bazillion hours in Street Fighter 6, and I'm almost kinda-good.
I feel like you would enjoy Kingdom Come Deliverance.
What platform did U play all these hours on? I'm planning to get myself a gaming computer and still cant decide between beefy/mini/laptop... I play my steam games on steamdeck so far
Id have to check the exact hours played but Ark Survival Evolved I have thousands of hours on. Easily my most played game.
I WILL MARRY LARA!! She loves doggos, I love doggos. You shot a doggo. You a bad boy!! Bwahahahahah!!! 😋
Ive been trying to unite the whole united kingdom starting from the tutorial scenario in ck3 since the game came out lol
Yayyy a steam contorller
Edit: you have 10x the steam games I do....and I thought my backlog was big....
when it comes to PC parts - absolutely ... a dozen or so GPUs in my stash, enough parts to build 10 gaming PCs. Plz send help.
I Got My Miyoo mini + from amazon at..... 3:00 AM IN THE MORNING
I have 750+ hours of DoTa 2. And I was a League of Legends guy.
Not Steam, but I have 1600 hours on Factions, The Last of Us multiplayer. I have to force myself to uninstall the game from time to time, otherwise I wouldn't play any other games.
Pretty much the same list, except Lego Jurassic Park. Oh and swap HOI4 for Crusader Kings.
Oh sure, reference an old Hercules cartoon, but miss the obvious Ren & Stimpy clip when helping your mom with her horse: czcams.com/video/haZcvYOiqtg/video.htmlsi=IRIbV2oML2IuGJ-G&t=37
''They are Billions'' 350 hours in, on easy setting, 17% complete. I hate this game, nearly as much as i love it
You should play rust you will "love" it lol
Other than efootball and PES games, my most played games are:
1-Fallout: New Vegas = 295.1 hours
2-The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition = 178.1 hours
3-Duck Game = 147.9 hours
4-Fallout 4 = 124.8 hours
5-Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition = 114.2 hours
Those are Rookies numbers
Is it possible to play online with emulated games from a hdd? Or wil i get banned

They always have. You just needed to know where to look!
Does your voice ever get tired after doing that voice?
Nope! I can talk like this all day :P
Brilliant
I will NEVER complete my Steam Games Back log.
My top 3 games are:

Hi.
Balatro...
is this an out of season april fools joke?
GTA is OVERATED
That's a subjective opinion. The evidence clearly points to the contrary.
I never play the missions. Just cause havoc till I'm bored. Probably the most purchased not played through game ever.
steam has games?
