That isn't a common topic in math or the ASVAB. That said, I have a video on finding the reciprocal of fractions. Also, to find the reciprocal of any number, including decimals, you just place it under one. For example: the reciprocal of .5 is 1/.5 .
@@GrammarHero i took my Asvab yesterday and I had a question to find the reciprocal of 0.25 I had a hard time to solve the question lol, trust me I got a Afqt of 75 just because of your videos, but then I had to verify my score at Meps and I got rolled into the full Asvab so my score now is Afqt 40, I’m retaking the test next month to get a higher score!

Does anybody know currently what are the odds of getting a fighter pilot slot like does the Air Force need them rn
You can always call a recruiter for the Air Force!
God bless you 🙂
Literally, this is everything you need to know about fractions!

So for converting fractions to decimals and percentages the 5/8 is converted to .624 to 62.5% is that correct?
5/8 is .625. That is a typo in the chart.
Need this.
This was nice 👍
I love you man 😢
Thank you so much !!!!!!! This helped me understand fractions better thank you
I have trouble finding the greatest common factor...any advice?
Thank you, this is very helpful. I dropped out of school in 7th grade. I've been trying to educate myself ever since~
You're welcome and good luck! Shoot me an e-mail if you need anything.
Thank you very much.
You're welcome!
This really helped me refresh my memory on fractions thank you for this video it really helped, taking an important test tomorrow wish me luck :)
Good luck!
Thank you I actually needed this you explain way better than the teachers idk how they expect us to understand 😅
Heyy, do you have any videos about reciprocals of a decimal? im trying to find it through all of your playlists : ) thank you sir.
That isn't a common topic in math or the ASVAB. That said, I have a video on finding the reciprocal of fractions. Also, to find the reciprocal of any number, including decimals, you just place it under one. For example: the reciprocal of .5 is 1/.5 .
Here is that video: czcams.com/video/HEF7RtCxWHY/video.htmlsi=tqcBef1sqccFIn2k
@@GrammarHero i took my Asvab yesterday and I had a question to find the reciprocal of 0.25 I had a hard time to solve the question lol, trust me I got a Afqt of 75 just because of your videos, but then I had to verify my score at Meps and I got rolled into the full Asvab so my score now is Afqt 40, I’m retaking the test next month to get a higher score!
@karolinykethlin7220 .25 = 1/4
KEEP CHANGE FLIP
1 / (1/4 ) = 1 x 4 /1 = 1 x 4 = 4.
The only thing you needed to know about a decimal there is that .25 = 1/4, which I cover in my fractions video. I also cover reciprocals and dividing fractions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@GrammarHero thank you so much ❤️🙏🏻
Do you know of any good apps or web sites that will allow us to practice on?
My website is asvabapp.com.
Apart from that, the Iowa National Guard also has a good website, too: www.iowanationalguard.com/Recruiting/Pages/default.aspx?url=www.iowanationalguard.com/Recruiting/Pages/pretest.htm
On my website, you'll want to download a copy of my reference sheet and checklist:
Reference sheet: www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf
Checklist: www.asvabapp.com/checklist.pdf
Generally, I include enough practice questions in each of my videos, so you don't have to leave CZcams while studying.
Thank youu❤
You're welcome, and good luck!
Thank You Very Much , it was very very helpful

Thank you this helped me because I am not good with fractions but i needed to learn for ASVAB and my study buddy had brought me here and I also wasn't good with converting fractions into decimals or percentages.
Oh my fucking god , sorry for the language .
But this is simple 5th grade math that I’ve forgotten , thank you 🙏🏾

You aren't permitted to bring anything, such as notes, with you.

On the chart to the left for 5/8 the decimal was wrong it is .625
Correct. That is a typo.

3 2/5 + 4 4/3= 3 6/15 + 4 20/15 = 9 26/15 or 10 11/15
I’m taking mine Wednesday & suppperrr nervous. I’m not worried about the math or the wording, I’m more concerned for the science part of the test lol. Any help on what I can do to do better at the science part of it??
Just do your best, and everything should work out. You really aren't meant to study for the science part, since the ASVAB is an aptitude test. Good luck!
I hope you can help me because I am going to take my GED test soon so I hope you can help..👍👊🤓 i liked how you went step by step and I got to stop and did the work and I actually got it right so thanks for that.. So just maybe I'll pass it..👍
Good luck! My videos should help you prepare for the ASVAB and GED.
@@GrammarHero Well I'll be using all your videos because I just started so plan on seeing me around and asking alot of questions.. I do have one now if you don't mind?? Do you always add or multiple from when there is a whole number in front of the fraction??
