Why multiply by 2?
let’s think about it this way
You don’t HAVE to do that since the outcome is the same but for some it might be easier to understand visually that 4/10 is 40% instead of 2/5
I got an 85% on this one but got a 50% percent on the Arithmetic practice test :/
3×3×3=27
When you solve it that way, you don't account for the fact that -3 is also a possible solution.
Where did the 5 come from
1+1+1+1=4 1/4+1/4+1/4+1/4=4/4=1 (makes a whole) 4+1=5 5/60
Got a 7 my first try. After 3 weeks of studying im getting between a 21-23 on a pi-cat from my recruiter. I have 9 days till i take my full test. I hope i pass.

@@Roadrunner509 If you know your times tables, reducing fractions shouldn't be too hard.
I solved it by foiling 4 to everything and then solved for x and 6

You don't need to do anything, the perimeter is 4 times the side length but that's directly proportional so it reduces back to 1:5.

TO ANYONE STUDYING: please try your best to relax and get at least 8 hours of sleep the night before. Also, study and genuinely do your best to work the problems out before he goes over it. Better to make mistakes now rather than on the asvab. Finally, go with your gut during the test. Do not second guess yourself. There’s not a whole lot of time for that. You all will do great. I’m just a brown guy for the Midwest and I scored a 75. Be kind to yourself ❤
I went from a 30 to a 61 I couldn’t have done it without grammar hero I used to say I was bad at math but after watching these videos I feel like a pro at math

Basics
Extra simple way to put it: Since they're the same shape, the perimeter is equal to all the sides added. We're talking about the exact same ratio because we're comparing the exact same thing, the outside of the squares. Therfore the ratio doesn't change.
Take it times 1.37 and move on.
