- Video report of visit to Shikoku: city of Kochi and nature park Iya Valley with rugged mountains and impressive gorges. This part of Japan hasn't been discovered by the mainstream tourists yet. It's relatively quiet and offers good opportunities for some good hiking.
The Iya Valley is stunning!
It's a beautiful video and thanks for making it. The train station is picturesque and seems really tranquil .
Shikoku - rural paradise.
I'll visit Shikoku in 2017!
This small but magical and charming main island had caught my attention for years looks like a really good place to live too!
Being a birthplace of Udon is big plus too since I loved udon noodles!
Weather is also one of the mildest in all of japan so again another plus.
Kochi city looked pretty modern for a place that some Japanese called it a backward, rural place.
Surely Shikoku is a hidden gem that most tourists overlooked, not to me!
Thank you very much for your video! Amazing!
@ 6.25.. Amusing..they have a replica of the Manekin Pis, this one has the little boy pissing into the valley, while the original Manekin Pis in Belgium pisses into the water fountain.
I´ll visit Shikoku next year! =D Japan is such an amazing country! =) Great video ^^
Hey, thanx and good choice, Shikoku is one of my favorites, especially Iya Valley and the Old Route 32.... Enjoy your visit next year!
Thanks a lot! You video actually made me decide my next trip route. :)
+Kseniia Kovalenko - You are very welcome. I've been to Japan quite a few times now and Shikoku is my favourite! I am sure you will enjoy your stay there!
