I want to congratulate you on these scenes-examples. For a few reasons. 1. You decided to put them twice. In my opinion you could consider putting it even three times. 2. You speak fast in these scenes. 3. They're scenes, not only example dialogues read out loud. 4. I don't know if it's just my feeling, but I guess you use more natural language in these scenes than during instructory videos. These are awesome! And I'm speaking from a teaching point of view. Great ideas!

Hi! I want to learn mandarin chinese. In in order to expose myself to the language, am want to watch a lot of chinese television/movies. Is it a bad idea for me to watch historical dramas? (for example : Story of Yanxi Palace, The King's Woman, etc...) Or will I learn an old/odd/wrong way of speaking? Thanks!

It's OK to watch historical dramas as most expressions are the same as modern dramas.
