- Yoo guys, today we talking about my favorite build I have played this season, Bash Devil. This build is incredibly comfy, synergizing fast attack and movement speed with crazy AoE! I am only level 80 but I wanted to put this out as a midgame guide and will follow up again one i am level 100! Hope you enjoy the guide:

Don't normally comment on vids..i watch, learn and lurk..but had to say; I tried this build and it slays, had normal double nado, this is miles better, but best part is its fun. I have all toons to 70+ and mid to end game is where it it generally loses me..this is easy the best in regard to damage/tankiness/fun - great work - subbed.
Great vid! Clear, concise, and great seeing a build guide that isn't fully master worked. It's always disheartening seeing a content creators stats massively above what I can achieve when assembling a build 🤣

I stumbled on to this build accidentally while leveling and trying to follow a Double Swing guide. Had enjoyed DS in prior seasons but realized that I really didn’t need it because fast bash + dust devils was so good. Glad I found your video, my own weird hodgepodge was starting to fall apart in WT4. This build is so fun. I never liked Triple Shout but I love this version of it. It’s just fast and powerful, yea it’s braindead in a sense but after playing an extremely try hard Rogue build with way too many skillshot timing elements this has been a blast. Still less braindead than minions lol.
I stumbled on bash/DD while leveling as well. Didn't see a single vid for it, but realized quickly that there was some viability there. I didn't keep pushing it since I switched over to bash/bleed, but it did carry me to PIT 45 before I made the switch. And I smashed Lilith with it, which felt awesome. Super fun build.

I've made something similar but still scaling bash damage and having the dust devils act as AOE while I focus on the elite and the twisters take out the trash for me. Just bash felt bad having to hit all the enemies but the extra twisters Have really helped. Using both aspects for twisters and the twister glyph to get it online. All tempers I use are for the bash and damage to close. I need to check out my rings and see if fury generation is tempered that could help me make more happen but I'm pretty happy with what I'm getting. I would love your opinion on what I have going, am I wasting aspects just having a few twister synergys

The marshal glyph says that it doesn't reduce your other shouts, but it does reduce the ultimate cd
I didnt watch the vid yet so you may mention this, bjt I'm curious if Yan's Blessing would be good in this build. It would trigger your shouts and make more dust devils. I guess it has the chance to trigger kick instead but you could switch that out for leap. You could even incorporate leap quake, though you'd probably have to give up some of your resource Gen aspects so maybe not worth it.
Cool, I just uploaded mine, similar with thorns. Dust devils are pure fun.
Running this build basically. Couple things I've done different is running Yen's for the boots, you loose MS, but the free shout every 8-10 second is really nice. Plus it's a good chuck of DR to close. Other change I made is the last paragon board, I know this isn't really optimized, but until then, if you switch the last board to Decimator and free up some extra points in other places you can get both the glyph and the legendary for another damage multiplier.

I think that Dust devil size on your 2-hand sword would be better because of the DMG multiplier on the Aspekt on your 2-hand mace that increase the DMG when dust devils are bigger
Thanks for this build. Trying it out to level the barb and having a blast. Question: are you using a console controller with your PC or do you play on the console? I'm curious about setting up a controller with the PC vs using mouse/keyboard.
I play controller on PC. Big tip is bind interact to R3 and basic attack to A so you can loot without having to kill all the enemies on ur screen

There is no plainning at all and still looks BEAUTIFUL so far. I play aesthetics > power in D4 and this on screen looks soo cool. And its bash so im sure pit 100+ with this isnt gonna be a problem.
Hey man love your stuff, would like to see you push this one to endgame. It felt amazing to me until I got into the pit and then around 40+ ooph. You get real squishy and the boss dps goes off a cliff. I managed to clear 60 but it was a struggle. Love to see what you make of it then!
Twisters don't scale as well for boss damage as bash. I had to go all in on either bash or thorns to push 70+.

I am doing a leap earthquake, bash, and dust devil build. Leap around making massive earthquake each time I leap I get 40 fury making 2 dust devils then bash as backup incase I ever miss my leaps.
I just changed from this build to maxroll bash setup because I got some uniques and it sucks....this is way better just needs a finished article can't wait
Loving the build but I think I’m missing damage maybe I missed something but I’m not sure how to keep berserking up constantly

Moxsy, do you have a Barb build for endgame that can tank/complete high Pit and lvl 200 bosses- especially Lilith and Lord Zir? I am talking specifically about resistances to all elements. Seems like a problem with many Barb builds that no one really addresses.

Is this something you can build from level 1 or something to transition to? If it's more of an endgame build, what do you suggest to use as a leveling guide? This build looks awesome and it's made me want to start a new character, just not sure how to start off
You need the enchants to create the DD (Devilish and Fierce Winds). You also need decent attack speed and resource generation to create a good amount of them. I started a leveling build from Maxxroll (Upheaval for me) and transition at level 50.

This is very similar to the build I kind of fell into whilst levelling, although im trying to scale both DD and Bash so im sure its far from optimal!
Did you ever pursue this build. Did it have any decent endgame potential like 130 pits ?
im Just running this bash build with this devilish aspect and a shako. Super strong and fast. skipped the leap earthquake with the devilish. But no points or tempers on dust devils, it looks like they proc the unique gloves
I personally tried this and had my reservations vs Double Swings Dust Devil but this build was critical for my leveling. If you are lucky and get Yens Shoes (boots), it only increases your boosted damage. Legit build
What guide did you use to level with?
Before this season it was HOTA when it was OP. But was Double Swing with Dust. This build was Bash with Dust Devils and was much better. This is why Moxy is the man.
im surprised you didnt add temper where you increase dust devil size so you can cap size at 100%

I've been using Ramnaldi's instead tho to lean more heavily into Bash instead of the Dust Devils

You don't want to use Rama to scale bash. You don't want to lose out on the bash temper.
@@michaelbarber3125 yeah, now that we know it's multiplicative instead of additive I definitely agree. Rama gave me an 80% multiplier (0.4 x 200 Fury) so I thought it was insane but as it turns out it still can't compete with the gigantic Bash temper multiplier
I'm pretty sure marshal now only applies to non shouts, but it's still good for wotb cd
Love this build to death! Some help tho would be appreciated, im currently on torment and got some good one handers, i put them on, aspects etc, then i go do some killing and my bash is now using the one handers instead of the 2h? Any ideas what is happening?
because of how barbarian works you can select which weapon you use on certain skills. If you don't ever change this is just swaps to the highest damaging set of weapons stat wise. So if you want to use 2handers for this build you'll have to make sure that two-handed bludgeoning weapons are selected for bash
Is this better than double swing Dust Devil? I have a hard time reaching pit 80 with it

How well do you think this will hold Up against bosses in the pit? I made a super fun infinite leapquake build but it’s trash against bosses :(

So in practical terms, how do you run this build before Devilish aspect drops? Because it's a rare open world drop.
If you have the bash cleave temper just run bash with moonrise. If not, level with whatever you have.
The double swing dust devil was the most fun for me so far this season. Such a shame that it starts lacking single target damage around pit 60 for me. I still miss some crucial stats on some items, but at the same time I have all uniques and a shacko.
I think it can probably push into the 70ies or maybe 80ies if perected, but it will struggle with the bosses more and more. It's a shame that there are always just 1 or 2 builds for each class that are viable in the endgame and you are forced into them if you want to farm effectively.
This is pretty close to the build I went with too , but I call it bash devil. Currently at pit 80 and I swap around rupture charge steel grasp and kick depending on my feels . I need better luck with gear to push higher

Would the twisters be effected by magnum opus if you used the dual wield option for bash?
Bash requires bludgeoning weapons to be used.

Have you seen some of the leapquake builds? You can basically have 100% uptime on leap.
The concept is leap makes an earthquake, giving you damage reduction, %x damage increase, it generates fury, and can proc Joritz with a skill tree passive. Get earthquake duration and stack 10%x damage for each earthquake via glyphs.
I’m working on an iteration of the build where I use double swing and all of the dust devil aspects. Double swing for mobbing, leap spam for bossing, and double swing spam when boss is staggered.
You can also get some crazy double dip with aspect of berserk ripping.

I tried the Raxx build(maxroll) and I lack defenses with 9k+ armor & resis 50%+ Igot one shooted by elites. This build is tankier?
This is a big problem with many Barb builds. The build makers don't seem to want to address the elephant in the room: SURVIVABILITY.

Double swing has worked extremely well for me to 100
It's not, double swing is way better. The lack of constant berserking with this build is extremely limiting.
@thedonovan really this seems like you don't need to balance resources. It sends out more and consistent dust devils as well. I'm only lvl 51 with my double swing now so maybe it gets a lot better. Just really slow to me the first 50 levels. Took me forever to find my first dust devil aspect.
Seems like it would be. Double swing sucks till you fix fury generation. Which can be a pain if you have bad luck.

pick two temper manuals...don't just temper one. you get to put 2 on each.
Throw Yen's Blessing on this for free autocasts of your shouts and thank me later. It's seriously a game changer paired with that helm.

my experience everything above 60 depends on boss you get. only cleared 68 and that was only because of good stun timing on Den Mother boss

Barb is always broken every damn season. They just need to be needed into the ground like they did sorc. Everyone just poking a boss with sick and they dying. Barbs are always so broken

Double swing is still way better. DS keeps berserking going, bash doesnt. Without constant berserk upkeep your losing thousands of % of damage.
This is solved with a legendary passive that when a bleeding enemy dies it procs berserk. You have berserk up 100% of the time once you kill a couple mobs.

@@brandonnoble15Until your fighting bosses, or have any amount of time between trash but before your able to recast war cry. Keep in mind that passive gives you a 10% chance to apply berserk, not guaranteed so you'd need to kill 10 ads in order to guarantee it's proc, which is rarely going to happen in a boss chamber. Trash is never the problem for any build, it's always about boss management. If you have 16 seconds between berserk casting and no reaply then you won't have berserk.
So this is a build to dominate sub-level 60 NMDs?
it's good for all NMD - can clear 100 with it pretty smoothly

I dunno, barbarian who has the coolest arsenal mechanic which allows him to combine different strikes from different weapons now completely downgraded to simple auto-attacking.
