എന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിൽ (1950s) നാട്ടിൽ കുട്ടികളെ എഴുത്തിനിരുത്തുന്ന പതിവ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിനു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ഒരു സംസ്‌കൃത - മലയാള പണ്ഡിതനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. VIP കളെ കൊണ്ട് ഇന്ന് മാതാപിതാക്കൾ പത്രം ഓഫീസിലും മറ്റും പോയി ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നത് പുതിയ രീതി. ഇതിൽ MT സാറും പോകുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.
