- Americans Try Sisig for the First Time in The Philippines! Although we have had Sisig outside of the Philippines, this will be Tyler's first non-fast food experience with the food!
We start the day on a journey to ship a letter we had previously tried to send. We searched for a DHL and ultimately found a place that quoted us over $60 for a single letter... so we didn't send it.
After that we headed to a restaurant we filmed a video on previously; Gerry's. We heard that their sisig was good the last time we went there, so we thought we would try it this time! We also got a few more foods to try like dynamite.
After trying these foods we hit up the save more grocery store and then went to J.CO for dessert and tried a few of their donuts!

Squeeze the calamansi juice all over the sisig for added sour taste.
Mix the egg on sisig & squeeze that calamansi on it .. 🖖
It will taste better if you squeeze the calamansi in the sisig. Your foods are very delish, you are really eating best/popular filipino foods. Hope you try more food like you mention and the format is also good Food then Adventure! Love your vlogs🥰🥰 it makes me hungry and happy at the same time
Make a Donut Hall of fame video and do a taste test to compare all the donuts in a one episode content and give your rating hehehe 🤭 🤭 🤭
Do some buffalo wild wings video!! Compare it to American branches
you should mix the egg on sisig immediately and squeeze the calamansi on it. 🥰😘🍚🥤🍛

I think you have to mix the egg in the Sisig, for a better taste with calamansi.🍛 😉
I hope you guys had a great experience overall. Sisig is a very well-known Filipino dish. It seems like it could be anyone's comfort food.
Kangkong is called "water spinach" in English. These plants grow in water hence the name.
Glad you guys liked the sisig. Even better with calamansi drizzled on it.
Dynamite is my favorite snack and tastes great with pretty much any dip.
Have a great rest of the trip!
We live just 5mins away from SM North and I do the grocery like twice a week and hangout with the kids at the mall every weekend. Kids are hoping they'd bump into you guys one of these days before you leave the Philippines. Manifesting 🙌😅 Hope you're enjoying just as much as we enjoy watching your vlogs.
It is very possible that we will!
I love that you are now used to eating using spoon and fork 😎 There’s so much more food to try! Add sinigang, kare-kare, bicol express and bulalo on your list 😊 Gerrys, Manam, Dencios, Cabalen should have it 😊 Enjoyyyy 💜
Why? Are they eating using their hands? Or chopsticks before?
@@louielegaspi1163 Fork and knife. Americans generally do not use spoon with their meals.
@@JaroldEgan i thought they only use knife and fork in special occasion
@@louielegaspi1163 They use spoon toeat soup otherwise they use fork and knife.
Seeing them trying different things, going to different places and their sharing it to us makes me happy as well.hope u enjoyed your stay in our country.Keep safe
You should mix the egg immediately with the sisig..😊
Yey! I was one of those who recommended sisig from Gerrys. Also, the variants you've picked from JCo were the least popular, or at least for me and the people I know. But another fun video. Looking forward to the next one.
Philippines are amaxing ,love filipino people
🙏🏻🇵🇭❤️👍🏻🎁
@@jaysonmyfriendtv1671 cant eait to travel philippines, love 🤘
The calamansi is for the sisig. It will give it a slight hint of sourness and cut the fatty taste out.

Why is there a beggar inside the resto? The Manager & crews are EPIC! Epic fail😂

I have tasted two variations of sisig, the one that is served in sizzling plate and the other homemade by relatives with Mayo, red onion, kalamansi and pork.. very delicious, very fresh..💕 kangkong is water spinach..also an ingredient in Sinigang Soup the sour soup.
Mix the egg on sisig & squeeze that calamansi on it .. 🖖
Great ! Lots of Gerrys out here in the Philippines ! That's my name..🤣👌
Hope you guys try going to Makati, the Greenbelt area.😍
Awese brows..Grats to your Channel..i miss that place SM North..you enjoy a lot of foods from Gerry's grill ah
If you want to eat Filipino food, try Barrio Fiesta, there should be a group meal there with Kare-Kare (stewed park in peanut sauce)and Crispy Pata (Deep Fried Pork Legs & knuckles- not the echidna 😆)
omg. this is my requests. thank you
try crispy pata and bangus belly 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Guys, try the savory chicken. It is a classic. It was once exported abroad for it’s flavor and taste. Hope you try it
10:00
You must mix the calamansi in the Sisig before mixing so it balance the oily and salty flavor. 😂
Thanks for vlogging.
I always remember my lil bro with your meme lover mannerism guys. 🥰
Try the waterfalls and beach in the provinces now, guys. 😉
And so your research, ok?
And be careful.
But the adventure is very worth it.
While the sisig sizzles you should have mixed the egg and added the calamansi (the small lime)
Visit the original Sisig in Angeles Pampanga.. "Aling Lucings" original sisig..youll never regret trying that.. 🥳
That little green citrus thing is called Calamansi. It is supposed to be mixed with the Sisig and Egg, to really enhance the flavor.
Awesome, dudz.
Salamat po.
I think it will be nice if you go to different provinces to experience various cultures of the country.
I haven’t been to the Philippines in almost 40 years. I keep seeing posts about Manila Bay’s Dolomite Beach. Hope to see it in person soon. In the meanwhile I live vicariously through your Philippine videos and enjoy watching them. I hope to see Dolomite Beach featured in one of your videos.
The kalamansi lime is supposed to be drizzle on the sisig hahahaha Isaac you so, funny.
I miss going there in Quezon City. I lived there for years but I already relocated to my husband's city so I am so far from there now. I miss walking from SM North to Trinoma to Vertis North.
Enjoy you stay here, always watching you from Cebu, Philippines, Im Rey here😊

Oh neat we were there like last week ago!! We went bowling :))
Yeah, that egg over the sisig just puts it over. Love skillet food that come out still sizzling. YUM! 😋

I like your vlog guys very natural and transparent
Nice to see you real close, TriFate!!! (I'm that guy with a yellow jacket at 1:26, so shy to say hi lol).
Feel free to approach next time us next time if you see us around :)
Jco is the best donut for sure! Try the Al Capone, macha and chocolates. They’re the best!
Hello Guys I really love watching you specifically
When you're in the Philippines ..I miss our Country
Thank you very much 🙏👍❤️
You should squeeze the calamansi over the sisig, it enhances the flavour.
Watching from California you guys are funny 😂Have fun in Philippines 🇵🇭 7000 Island to see & foods to eat. Love to watch your vlogs every day 😍🇵🇭😍🇵🇭😍🇵🇭😍🇵🇭😍🇵🇭
J Co's Al capone is one of their bestsellers. You guys should have tried those. Usually when unfamiliar with a brand, I usually ask for their bestsellers and then add my personal choices.
There's a lot of Mall in Metro Manila, i hope you visit the Power plant mall in Makati, Festival mall & Alabang town center in Muntilupa.
Kangkong is Ipomoea aquatica, most widely known as water spinach, is a semi-aquatic, tropical plant grown as a vegetable for its tender shoots. I. aquatica is generally believed to have been first domesticated in Southeast Asia. It is widely cultivated in Southeast Asia, East Asia, and South Asia.
Go to other islands in the Philippines. Like bohol, boracay, el nido Palawan.
Please try .. fresh lumpia it's so good
I hope you can also visit to Makati City especially in Central Business District of Makati (Ayala Center) financial capital of the Philippines:
- Walk thru Ayala Avenue (wall street of the Philippines, so many high rise buildings and underground pass)
- Ayala Triangle Gardens
- Connected Malls (Greenbelt Malls, Glorietta Mall, Landmark and SM Makati)
- Weekend Markets at Legaspi and Salcedo Markets (food street markets)
- High-end Powerplant Mall at Rockwell Center
- Circuit Makati
Yeah, there are different kinds of sisig. Some are crispy and crunchy type while the other one is softer, wet type.
13:42 My best donuts 🍩
1. Krispy Kreme 🍩
2. Mister Donut 🍩
3. Dunkin Donut 🍩
4. J.Co 🍩
If you can find "Sisig Hooray" in any food court of the malls,i recommend it,its one of the best sisig recipes in the Philippines. You can choose chicken, pork, bacon, bangus (milkfish) but chicken and the pork is what i prefer,so delicious.
Food looks delicious especially the crunchy water spinach and the cheese stuffed peppers. Have fun exploring Metro Manila! Check another SM mall, SM Masinag, take the LRT all the way to Antipolo Station.
Were you able to find a supplement shop? Getwheysted should be near savemore, another one is nutrition depot which can be found at 3rd floor the block.
Originally version of sisig is no raw eggs on top. And yes raw egg cannot enhance the real flavor of sisig. Some add raw egg as a garnist purpose only. More onion and pepper are most delicious for me. And squeeze of calamansi is additional flavor.
"A lot of flavor" is the best way to describe Sisig, especially if mixed with Calamansi and egg.
Have you tried Mary Grace? Their food is good too. ☺️
The small green round called calamansi, you need to put soy sauce on small plate then squeeze the calamansi on soy sauce then put a little soy sauce on sisig every bite on your garlic rice
Sisig goes well with beer
Yes, true 👍😁Not an original idea, but maybe they can do a beer and snack (pulutan) video. Maybe best to do that at their residence rather than outside just to be safe (just in case they get inebriated).
One of the best and crispiest sisig in the Philippines are there in Gerry's Grill 😋😋😋 that is their best selling menu
Enjoy the video
i hope you guys good time in the philippines
I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, THE PODIUM MALL in Pasig. and Shargri la plaza in Pasig close to PODIUM
I love Gerry's Sisig! 💙💠
Try some Lechon sometime. 🐷
Been watching your videos and i am amazed by how far you guys walk 🚶🚶. Anyways, have a funtastic and amazing stay in the Philippines. Hope to see you explore the provinces soon. 👊
For me, Krispy Kreme is still the winner for the donuts 🍩 yum 😋 but the McCafe at McDonald’s here in Kuwait already has donuts too and it looks delicious but didn’t try it yet.
Yes, please try Iceberg next time. Their banana split is a must try.
Kangkong is water spinach. It grows so fast and very invasive that it's illegal to grow one here in Arizona.
Go to Boracay, Coron, and Siargao. Experience the life outside the busy streets of Metro Manila.
I'm craving with JCo right now. Al capone is my favorite.
Sprinkle the calamansi to the sisig. Calamansi provides a sour counter taste to the salty oily sisig.
I appreciate your effort how to use spoon, you know how to use it now👍
First again!😜🤣
Have you tried eating buffet at SM North EDSA {Vikings, Tong Yang Plus etc.}? Or going to LaLoma in Quezon City to eat Lechon?
delicious sisig and dynamite..👍 can you try to cook sisig or dynamite? 😁😄
Don't squeeze the calamansi to ur mouth, just mix to the sisig for added flavor ..lol
I suggest that u go to Pampanga where sisig originated. JCO is my favorite doughnut. I just bought 2 dozens last Monday.
You can try to mang inasal in SM north annex. I hope you're eat enjoy and travel fun.
Woah SM North and Trinoma is your new favorite place 😆
Gary's Stuffed Squid is also one of the best!
There's authentic Chinese food near there. Shantung. It's in west avenue! You should try beef broccoli and sweet sour pork with Shanghai rice. Wash it down with 4 seasons.
wow bro ilove sisig rice garlic ❤️🙏🏻🇵🇭🤤🤤
Also try Sisig at Andoks or Lembest. It is a crunchy Sisig :)
sana all..😜keep safe always..❤
Ok guys. Time to hit the beaches. Boracay. Siargao. Palawan
I probably memorized all your shirts by now.
We don't have more than 7 each haha
