When I was watching this I got shivers down my spine. Almost like watching Freddie. So fucking great!!! I said "almost like watching Freddie" becouse no one can be like he was!
If the "R" rated version SBC wanted were accurate and as honest as opposed to a shock piece or the artificially "PG" rated film that it seems is coming I would much rather SBC remain involved and give us that grit as well as the talent and skill level he would bring to any project. A true loss in my view. Any touring rock band with the hits, the legions of loyal fans, the lifestyle will always have grit and then some. It's the reality of touring. SBC is a fan too and would have kept it real.
I prefer a gritty realistic movie. Freddie was a good person but he was no saint. I'm afraid Brian (& Roger) want to turn it into a Disney movie... He lived life to the full, was extremely promiscious (his own words) and bursted with passion. I want to see that in a movie about Freddie. His good AND bad sides. Everybody had good and bad things and so did Freddie. By the way: Gregory rocks!

The material is awesome and the singer in particular is bang on. What I can never figure out is why none of the really good tribute acts have professional audio mixed with the video. In almost all cases on youtube all the performances are iphone cams or really good mixed with shit audio. Anyway, nothing specifically criticising this act, but it is another example of same

OK, there's something i really don't understand.....!? Since Freddy had dark brown eyes, and so does Sasha, then why does Sasha wears contact lenses in this video? I can't really tell what color are his contact lenses, but it's definitely a lot lighter than his real eyes.

It shows how they(metallica) really were behind the scenes, but if you see one of their gigs, its the sugar coating. What Brian and Roger want, is a another documentary about Freddie, which we alread have enough of. What people might want to see is the real Freddie how Brian, Roger, John knew him.

It's really rather unfortunate because his fans could benefit from knowing the details of his whole life besides Queen, Live Aid, the gay scene pre and post Aids epidemic,Gay and aids. That's all most people know when they think of Freddie unfortunately. I mean to have katy perry playing Mary Austin? Seriously? who wrote the script? Who was supposed to be the director? I bet if the script was authentic and it had the Bulsara's family blessing?
