I have lived in Alaska since 1975 I have never known anybody to actually kill any of these birds!
so thta means they dont kill them?? THOUSANDS are shot and killed a year. I lived in Phoenix an Ive never know anyone who;s killed someone--so that means peoplein phoenix dont kill people, right??
55months that’s close to 5 years that’s pretty steep price to pay for eagle parts. But it’s crazy that their is a waiting list for eagle parts.
That was total not per person
I hate how the animal is treated it hurts to see sacred animals to be treated likenthat. They shouldn't be wrapped in bags especially garbage bags. And we dont pay for them from when i filed out my forum that let me have a feather and a whole eagle i never had to pay.
Yea there not supposed to be kept in trash bags or plastic they have to be kept in boxes
I mean the moral thing to do would be take the feathers they lose just from day to day life.
and how does anyone know for ure that the person FOUND the feather. There is no way--so it HAS to be 100% illegal to possess on e. EVERY person who bought one off the black market or shot a bald eagle is going to say they just found it laying on the ground. Dude--think before you speak
@@markfrost2707no there’s a racial apartheid system that your genes get to determine whether or not you can possess them
Keep up the Good Work. Yours is a Noble Mission.
PS: Poachers DISGUST me!
Now my question is answered
the bald eagles that are poached in
Wtf... orders to native american, do they sell to native peoples. This is the biggest blackmarket going on.
Nope there just given to us no money its not right for us native americans to buy or sell feathers and we wouldnt there sacred to us
Powwow dancers buy them.
😢
if there is a black market?? blame the U.S. federal government!!!
Blame the government? Please explain
@@Paugoodle Since the government made it illegal they're not easy to get and if there's a demand for them then there will be people that try to make money of them. It's the same thing with drugs.
@@kilo393 I'm not sure I agree, while I think the war on drugs is an absurd waste of tax payers money and inequitably incentivizes private prison use, it isn't the same as any species that is or has been threatened by extinction or endangered for the purpose of poaching. Native Americans have a sacred tradition with Eagle feathers, but really there shouldn't be a general motivation for the mass populace to keep feathers of an endangered species in the first place.
right--by protecting them. Give me a f-ing break
Please tell me your just joking. It is the government's fault that they want to protect a species from extinction?
You want to stop the poaching? Make it legal for people to sell and trade these feathers. This has proven to work in MANY countries in Africa.
They might be endangered species
OMG...youre suggesting allowing people to hunt bald eagles!Q?Q?Q GET THE F*% out of here!
@@calebbrook7508 They nearly went extinct.
1 feather 500$
1 carcass 1000$
Big discount the more you buy lol
Bald eagles are good eatin’ . Same as manatee flippers
Going forward, when someone poaches an eagle they will receive back crackers in their spine compliments of Belzibub. Their spine will eventually crumble and they will be wheelchair bound.
No comment. Normal for now
Native's don't have to pay for them
Yet they do.
orders i hope don't mean natives paying for them... that would be disgusting
Wtf? 😂😂😂
I think it's pretty BS that normal Americans cannot possess bald eagle parts. I mean I understand the "exception" here, but who's tax dollars have gone into the massive restoration effort? We can pretend like the bald eagle is some sacred possession to the USA, but it's just a joke. I for one seriously would love to try to use one of those eagle claws as a hook, so I can re-live the tradition of the native tribes.
If you get it legally. Without harming the animal.
so, youre down for people shooting bald eagles for their feathers?? For sport!?? GTFO
@@markfrost2707I’m sure you’d love to hear what the Hopi do to golden eagle to get theirs 🤷♂️
$500? Lol. Ndns wouldn't pay that.
Ya we will
Your right we wouldnt pay a dime for a feather its never good to buy or sell feathers
Not true 5 hundred for one feather
Lmfaoooo it’s just a bird and people make such a big deal
