Dude please explain to me why you insure gear as a solo player if you never, ever do insurance fraud? What is the point? If you die you’ll lose everything anyway, you’re literally just wasting money on insurance this way. Like, if you had dropped your Hexgrid and put the Redut on you could have taken both the RD and the G28. Then on Reserve, you could have dropped your goon rig and put the CPC on. Just makes no sense at all :)
EDIT: Ok, I watched till the end and you dropped your rig for that Slick. Still, if you say that you typically never drop your gear, then why waste hundreds of thousands on insurance?

In short, I’m not too bothered about money. I insure only because for the small chance of getting stuff back from deaths from bosses/scavs.
It’s hard to explain but I don’t like dumping gear unless I feel like I have to (armour is zeroed etc)
Yeah it’s smart finically to dump gear but when I go into a raid with gear I like to keep & use the loadout I chose.
Im at a stage where I can make money easily so I’m not bothered if I’m losing out money that way.
That being said, with the new changes to insurance relating to how now if scavs pick up your stuff you don’t get it back from insurance, I no longer insure at all anymore :)
Man I love your videos, but one thing keeps bugging me. You need to commit insurance fraud more often! There was so much loot in those raids and you could've taken much more with you if you ditched your armoured rigs, body armours, helmets and headsets and took the stuff from the guys you killed. Most of the raids you just ran out with your insured gear
