Well, when it comes to some rebuilds, you know what they say; "We do it right cos we do it twice!!!" :P

@@SeasideGarage That is the hope, it's just having to take things apart to re-replace things, which I've done myself more times than I can remember, that's the "we do it twice" part... :P

Don't forget to add a small amount of either to your diesel 2 stroke mix
You might have been able to get the "Oilite" bushes from Bearingboys in the UK.
Split type spring washers have been unacceptable for a long time now. They are banned on military aircraft. Use Nylocs unless it just has to look vintage. Serrated washers and Loctite as an alternative.
as I've experienced, split washers aren't accepted in general in any actual new engineering, the only reason they'd be used is because someone decided to simply copy&paste old stuff

I knew an old guy in Rågeleje, who had one. He told that when he once had the piston rings replaced, they had to pull it several km after a car, before the compression became good enough for it to start.

8:37 I removed a similar race by cutting a deep groove into it with a tungsten bur and cracking it

when you weld a bearing race to make it contract, you just keep welding, long pass not just spots, and it will get lose.
7:30 if you weld the bearing ring, you could have welded a bar across the ring and pull on that. Or even two hex nuts and just use two screws to push :D

hate to say now - but always put grease on crank oil seals like that - they have a wee groove for it.
I use assembly oil on the sealing surfaces :)

this little guy is so simple! Although I still do not fully understand the design of the "carburetor". What does "desiccant" mean? Maybe a problem with the translation... Where can I find his scheme?

if you had puts the welds further away from the ally casing side you could of got the puller under the welds to pull
Riktigt fascinerande liten motor, jag älskar små motorer och det var riktigt kul att se den invändigt. Lycka till med provstarten senare, vi är nog många som är nyfikna.

You should weld all around the bearing race, would probably work better... you could also put a piece of mild steel across with a nut in the middle and use a puller :)

Did you measured the clearance between the faces of the piston ring?
I did not, its supposed to be pre gapped and I hope it is.. the cylinder is a blind hole so measuring is very difficult.. and my cylinder gauge is not small enough ! haha
It LOOKED good enough, at least not to small which would be catastrophic

odds are it's due to customs and customs duties and fees
@@BraveSteelDragonthey can just vat tax it as normal, theres no customs. Its same "internal market. Just put it in the post and it goes over the bridge to denmark.
More likely its just a new situation to do sales to another country and they didn't want to think about it or all their stuff is payment on delivery that they don't have working between the border.
Dont know why, they just did not accepts addresses outside sweden and although houses are cheap over there, it was to much of a hassle... :P
