You know if you buy a metal stud. Or metal stud track. 2x4. You can cut it up and make way better battery trays and use it for all sorts of stuff one stud will last you have a lifetime. Building materials are up right now but it's going to be more than $5 for a 2x4 8'metal stud. I'm in drywall so I have a bunch of it laying around I use it for all sorts of shit but it would make a way better battery tray and can screw it right on. With self tapping screws
I'm thinking of doing this conversion. I was going to keep it nitro but it's such a pain to find parts and with all the maintenance it's just not worth. My neighbors will definitely appreciate me retiring the old big block lol
Hi the front left driveshaft was on the nitro bullet which i havnt sorted yet its on my my list.the savage was just the pinion just came loose and slipped back so it wasnt catching the drive gear
No i havnt determined what that is yet i thought it might be metal spur with metal pinion and metal middle drive.its definately not the mesh on pinion. any other ideas welcome
I used a motor and esc combo off banggood and 2 x 3s batteries but its crazy with no control gotta sort gearing out then back out to play.well worth doing
so i was inspired by this build and collected all the parts, im mounting the battery trays currently and my nitro has a brake arm sticking out one side of the transmission. did yours not have this or did you do away with it and i missed it?
Sorry dude but have you ever watched the videos of them with the nitro is so God damn slow compared to brushless motors. There's no comparison Plus. I live in Massachusetts and it can be humid as hell and then the next day be dry and it's pain in the ass tuning them things all the time why everybody's ripping with the electric cars next year so that's why nitro's dead. Just a novelty now. If you drive them hard too you going to go through clutches like crazy. Brushless is so much better fast up the whole power. There's no comparison. Peace out bro have a good day

I agree bud i have actually used self tappers as well now to stop them flapping about but i just used what came in pack for the video 👍

Totally i agree. im actually selling this one in the video at present for £200 moving onto the next project
I have 2, ones got a new lrp and dynamite exhaust and full integy hop ups, the other is probably going brushless lol

Hi great to hear your converting I did away with it altogether as the middle drive stops you and lets you rdverse

Got a nitro one also. this was an experiment bud and i love the noise of nitro but the electric one is a different beast and cleaner
