love noel and cody and glad that they haven’t changed as much as other celebs from their increase in wealth, but it was SO funny seeing them getting a little reality check. cody gets regularly checked almost every pod bc he deserves it, but it was even funnier seeing someone as cut throat with jokes as noel getting it handed back to him (successfully) 😭

I wouldn’t say they’re “disconnected from reality” (that was probably an exaggeration for comedic effect), but they’re definitely a bit out of touch, which makes sense as they’ve become multi-millionaires within the span of a few years, who wouldn’t be. The funny part is though I don’t think they realise that they’re a bit out of touch because they’re constantly surrounded by other wealthy LA influencers, so when someone as brutally honest as Hunter points out the lowkey out of touch comments that they make and gives them a reality check it’s pretty entertaining to watch ngl.

@@IamLegendAnon I’ve seen Noel perform twice before and this crowd was just not responding to his set. They became a little more lively when he did crowd work, but still seemed reserved. Can’t fully speak on the city since I didn’t spend much time there, but Noel was saying how he noticed the people there where either farmer types, college athletes or other random people walking around looking dazed

People grow and people change. They shouldn’t be shamed for the money they’ve made and I would rather have them be honest about them doing “rich guy shit” .. then being fake so they seem more relatable. They’re doing what they’ve always been doing which is talk about their lives and joke around. Just because they now live a more lavish lifestyle doesn’t make them out of touch with reality.. they just have the money to do the shit they wanna do now and taking advantage of it.
Nobody is shaming them for the money they make, hunter is just poking fun at them for being typical LA rich guys, are we not allowed to joke about rich people anymore 💀 And let’s be honest here, they are a bit out of touch but ngl I don’t blame them, it’s difficult to get that rich (while constantly being surrounded by other rich LA influencers) and still remain 100% in touch. That doesn’t mean they aren’t funny or likeable any more, I’m still huge fans of them both, but it was funny seeing someone as brutally honest as Hunter give them a reality check because sometimes they do lowkey make out of touch comments without realising it until someone like Hunter points it out 💀💀

This podcast for over a year now, has been focussed on conversations between cody and noel. and what has been happening inside their lives.
They literally have to avoid telling each other about things they want to, just so they can talk about it fresh on the podcast.
They literally let their friendship take a blow in order to produce good content for yall.

These two have been grinding, espescially noel.
Puting out music, comedy tours, a whole media brand now, multiple podcast episodes a week for multiple podcasts, short films, patreon content, Comedy sketches, cody and noel do, and videos on their main channels.
they produce more good content, at a higher production value, than most youtube channels do in general.
maybe its not that the content is not as entertaining anymore, maybe you are just growing out of tmg.
maybe its time to watch morning talk shows, lifetime drama specials, and how its made on the history channel.
Or maybe ya just complaining to complain, who knows.
@@zukoHD there is some truth to this, watching them talk about shit in their life is alright but it can be a bit draining sometimes when its not interesting/creative so i understand why it may come across as flexing/pretending.
I personally love it when cody and noel talk about their creative process and other ventures. I love that stuff, reminds me of why I started watching. both these guys can be really creative when they want to be but they dial it down and don't delve into the details. I haven't been keeping up with the podcast in 2 years, but I tuned into that anniversary episode and it was so good. They talked about their lives but it wasn't boring and unrelatable and idk why but I feel like they know that.
@@zukoHD You answered you own question. It's a "bad thing" because they don't want people to see them like they are above average and not as relatable or even not as good friends as before because that's the reason a lot of viewers started watching/listening to them.
