Both of you have mellow vibes. Without your accents, you will pass for Ghanaians. Ghanaians old enough to have lived in the 70s will tell you that things were even more orderly. The revolution made us lose some of our orderliness and today, materialism has taken away even some of the shine. Minus materialism, the culture really is an asset = Respect is the core value.

There are two types of Uber drivers in Ghana. Those with Air condition with the price a bit higher than the other without Air condition. So, if you request for Uber, they will post the Ubers at your disposal with their prices them and it you who have to choose.

Ubers have ACs but you have to pay extra. This is due to high fuel prices. Taxi services generally not good and prices are arbitrary. Users, Bolts and Yangos are normally good.

Your conversation veered into who Osagyefo Nkrumah was. Referencing the song: " every where he goes he was doing good." He going to Guinea was not by CHOICE. It was an invitation by then Guinea government, also what He did to that country during his presidency in Ghana- he dole out $ 10 million to Guinea. This was in respond to what the French colonizers did to that country after thru haf gained independence. Now after the coup de tat in Ghana at the time Nkrumah was on a trip to Brooker peace in Vietnam. Subsequently, he could not return to Ghana which led the Guinea government to made him a vice president over Guinea. Nkrumah accepted it and he went on to periodically address Ghanaians. He hope was to return to power one day. Unfortunately ill-health deprived him from realizing his dream of coming back to power. This why he ended up in Guinea. Thanks and keep up with your educative blog

Drivers don't know where they are going until they start a trip. That's why they ask,cos they wanna drive strategically. And again no AC cos fuel is EXPENSIVE in Gh. We pay full price plus LOTS of added taxes. No subsidies. So if you are a driver driving through town with your AC on then is your profit you burning through at the end of the day.

Sorry for the bad online services, it is due to the cheatings of the online transport companies. They take more percentages from the driver. The companies don't increase the fares whenever fuel prices goes up. But what the drivers are doing are also not good.
